This review is for the injector, Cara and the aesthetician, Nicole…read more First off I just want the world to know how fabulous Cara is! Long story short, I got a lip filler botched job done about 3 years ago. I was terrified to explore that world again. Well, I was getting the itch. I had a friend who had been to Cara before and had rave reviews. So, I thought I'd give her a shot (after stalking all her social media of course )! I booked for a lip consultation and Dysport. When I was in the room with Cara, I told her all my concerns. Botox never works well for me and I always prefer Dysport. Easy. Onto the lips- I told her that I was absolutely terrified to get them done. Not only was I nervous about the outcome but I was terrified of the pain. Literally was having full blown anxiety! Cara assured me that I was going to handle it fine and started showing me some photos. Somehow in 10 mins she gained my trust and before I knew it I had numbing cream smeared half way across my face! I was IN! Once she started I was like "oh.. this isn't bad at all"! We decided on purchasing an entire syringe but only using half (Restylane) and then making a follow up apt for 3 weeks to use the other half to avoid any stretching, over filling or me just plain freaking out and having buyers remorse. Needles to say after everything settled, I was ready for more! Today was week 3. My Dysport didn't give the results I was looking for so Cara went ahead and touch up my areas of concern with no questions asked. I also got my other half of the syringe. She is TRULY an artist! Every prick she makes is extreme thought and precise! So obsessed! I made another apt to come back for more right before X-Mass. If you're looking for an injection, don't look any further! Now onto Nicole! I booked a Diamond Glow treatment with her. I felt like my face just needed a little "pick me up". She was awesome! Not pushy at all! She didn't try to sell me thousands of dollars or products (I probably would've bought them though! You should see her skin!) or a package or treatments. She listened to my concerns and told me what she would recommend and we just went from there. The treatment was very soothing and I instantly noticed a rejuvenation in my skin. It did just "glow" different. As far as pricing- the Dysport and lips cost me $1000 even. I didn't have some points/coupons to use. I think before that it was $1040 (pretty average if you ask me) the lips were 650 and the Dysport was 390ish. Diamond Glow treatment was $175 and the serum we used was an extra $25. I had a coupon again so I walked out paying $170. My new favorite place! Hope this honest review helps put someone's mind at ease!

I chose Dr. Burke for my breast augmentation, lift, mesh placement and liposuction, spending over…read more$22,000 and driving two hours each way because I specifically wanted her as my surgeon. As a young mom, spending that amount on myself was a huge decision, and I put a tremendous amount of trust in this practice. Unfortunately, I deeply regret that decision based on how I've felt treated afterward. Only five months after surgery, I asked about exchanging my implants for a larger size. I was initially quoted $10,500, later reduced to $5,500 under local anesthesia, still including another $1,750 surgeon's fee. I offered $3,000 and then $3,750, hoping there would be some consideration for a patient who had just spent over $22,000. Both were declined and I was told $5,500 was firm. My follow-up appointments frequently felt rushed as well. Driving four hours round trip only to feel like there was barely time to discuss my concerns made the entire experience feel increasingly transactional. I expected the level of care and attention after surgery to match what I experienced while deciding to spend $22,000 with the practice. It did not. The billing process was equally frustrating. I had to specifically request an itemized receipt, and the liposuction performed during my surgery wasn't even identified on it. I only learned it was included in the facility fee after questioning why it was missing. I never expected another surgery for free. I expected transparency, reasonable consideration and to feel valued after making such a significant investment. Instead, I've been left feeling that my value as a patient dramatically changed once my original surgery was paid for. I genuinely wanted to remain Dr. Burke's patient. Instead, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. For over $22,000, countless hours of travel and the amount of trust I placed in this practice, I expected significantly better. Knowing what I know now, I would not choose this practice again--and I wish I had understood before paying how different my experience would feel afterward.

I came into the Water Tower Mall location on Michigan Ave. and Michelle was the nurse that injected me. Michelle was extremely personable and knowledgeable. As someone that has been getting Botox for 10+ years and worked at a MediSpa for 5 years, I would like to think of myself as a self-proclaimed expert on the matter. Right away, Michelle asked exactly what area I wanted to treat and gave me her ideas. The injections were very quick and painless. Afterward, she reminded me of the care instructions (no exercise, raise your brows a ton, stay upward, you know the drill!) I felt so comfortable and will certainly be back to see her. Oh, and I had a Groupon for a STEAL. If you are contemplating Botox, look up Chicago Institute of Plastic Surgery and I promise it'll be worth your while, especially if you're on the fence about the procedure.

I felt pressured, misled, and even shoved toward a mirror, told to stand a certain way so I couldn't see poor surgical results. When I spoke up, I was told to ignore his behavior. I later found my records had been altered and learned that staff routinely lie for him. I even have text messages that support my claims. In addition, my Botox treatments here never lasted -- I was told it was because of my age, but since switching to a new injector, they now last twice as long. I also noticed that negative reviews about this practice disappear, while patients are solicited to post positive ones in exchange for free treatments. This left me feeling unsafe, disrespected, and deceived. I will be filing a complaint with the state board.

At our initial consultation on June 12, he was polite but seemed rushed and didn't spend much time discussing details. Still, he offered to perform the procedure at a reasonable price, so I decided to move forward. The surgery itself went smoothly, but recovery was incredibly painful. I couldn't stand upright for weeks. By January, I noticed swelling in my upper abdomen, which I initially assumed was just part of the healing process. Unfortunately, the bulge continued to grow rapidly, and I knew something wasn't right. I called Dr. Madry's office and was told he was leaving the country and wouldn't be available for another two weeks. At that point, the swelling was about the size of a lemon and getting bigger every day. When I expressed my concern, I was shocked by how I was treated. The office staff was dismissive, defensive, and even blamed me for not coming in sooner. Dr. Madry later called me from overseas and also made me feel shamed and at fault. They referred me to another surgeon at Good Shepherd who was covering for him, but I was told he wouldn't be able to see me for another week. Meanwhile, the bulge had grown to the size of a grapefruit. After some research, I realized I was likely dealing with a seroma--a fluid-filled pocket left behind after surgery. As a professional photographer, this growing mass made it extremely difficult to work. In desperation, I contacted my previous surgeon in Chicago, Dr. Michael Lee, who drained a significant amount of fluid from the area. I continued to see him for repeat aspirations--about ten times--until it became clear that this was not sustainable financially or logistically. Emotionally drained and hesitant to return to Dr. Madry after my experience, I resorted to draining it myself every few days. It's a painful and risky process, involving sterilizing the area and inserting a four-inch needle into my abdomen. Dr. Lee has now advised that I'll need another surgery to permanently resolve the seroma. It will cost $5,000 and require two weeks off work. I've had over ten surgeries in my life and never had any issues--until now. This has been my worst medical experience. Not only is the seroma still present, but the incision from the tummy tuck is large and poorly done. I also continue to have significant swelling that gives the appearance of a pot belly--on top of the seroma in my upper abdomen. Looking back, I deeply regret not investing in a more experienced and compassionate surgeon. I wish I had paid more for someone who would've treated me with care and delivered better results. This has been emotionally, physically, and financially devastating.

What got me was he didn't even ask if it was OK prior and I have a heart condition called WPW which could be deadly if given this !!!! I have been having a ton of palpitations as a result. Before I left the office I asked him to add more under the eyes since they didn't look like they were done yet and he said it will all settle into place !?? . I left with bruised and a swollen face . One week later I was left with nothing but bruises on my face and needle marks on my leg . My eyes , cheeks , and smile lines are as prominent as they were before I went to see him!!!!!!& I called the office and they were off for the holiday when I got ahold of him I was already back in my home state. I explained my situation and he told me to come In to show him. I said I can send pics or face time and he said he can't help me . I asked for a credit or a refund and he still denied me . I told him I will write an HONEST review and he said he can sue . Unless the majority of your clients are unemployed, it's inconvenient and questionable, and counter intuitive. Reading through the previous and more creditable reviews... screw this place. Sounds like they are shady AF. Refund on the Groupon please. There are plenty of med spas around, don't need to go to some place that demonstrates their level of Customer care so blatantly up front. P.S. their response about Saturday hours reinforced the assessment of B.S. as they well know, those are "reserved for vein surgeries" and not available for booking. Okey dokey Seana Spicer.

We put our trust in this place and in these Dr's to be completely and utterly disappointed. 1st surgery was a breast reconstruction surgery and we noticed the Incisions bigger than usual and her breast spread apart and not sitting right. 2nd surgery was an arm lift and after surgery same thing, Incisions bigger than usual and some keloid. 3rd surgery was a complete body lift. From my understanding in between these surgeries the dr would reassure my wife that everything is done in sessions. Long story short my wife got her arms done 3 times by dr Ashpole and no difference from the first surgery. We've gotten 3 different opinions and all have said this Dr. Has done a horrible job. One leg is bigger than the other. One leg no keloid and healing ok but the other is bad. She's got a ball on the back of one of her arms. I went there to speak with the owner to make light of all this and with hope of getting a resolution. To fix her. Dr. Garg got loud with my wife by the entrance until he saw me. Took us to his office but the conversation didn't go anywhere. He kept insisting we speak with Ashpole and giving us the run around. At the end told us find someone to fix her and he will pay for it. We've found several Dr's that would help her but after trying to contact Dr Garg he was nowhere to be found. Secretary finally told us that he stated he's not responsible and has nothing to do with Dr Ashpole. WOW!! 2 weeks later we received a letter from Ashpole stating that he can no longer see her. I went again to talk with Dr Garg and the secretary told me he's not in will be back at 2pm. I came with my wife at 2 pm to find out they called the police and said I threatened them. This place is the worst of the worst!!! The nicest people at first until they get your money. There all about money and they don't care about patients. Be careful what you ask for, they will do what they want with you and say that's all they can do. They are lairs, cheaters and thieves. BE WARNED!!!! He changed the business name to Bradley Ashpole
