We've dealt with a lot of contractors - flooring, tile, electrical, handymen, and I have to say our experience with Deluxe Granite was by far the best experience of all these different projects. We are absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our experience! First of all, just the planning and communication aspects were fantastic! Rene was great to work with. So was Sharon, handling the office administration, she was easy to work with too. Rene responded quickly, came out to measure, showed us some options, and communicated clearly about the process, the timeline, etc. We ended up going with granite, although we weren't sure initially if it would be quartz or granite, and we're really glad we went with granite. She showed us a photo of the slab, and that was good enough for us, we chose not to look at it in the showroom, and when it did arrive and got installed, it was completely true to the picture, so we were quite happy with the way it looked. The entire process took very little of our time. I could not believe how quickly both the initial consultation with Rene and measuring the template (thank you, Nick!) took, let alone the actual installation (removal of existing and installation of new countertop). Leif and his assistant (sorry I didn't remember his name) did an excellent job. They showed up on time, got to work, tore down the old countertop, installed the new one, it seemed like in no time we were looking squarely at our beautiful new countertops! Leif was really personable and highly skilled, and communicated clearly about care and maintenance. This company is doing something right. They must have figured out a great business model. Consult, select, measure, take template, order slab, tear down and install. No problem. Well done. We did get other bids before choosing Deluxe Granite and some of them it seemed like it would take weeks or months, or we wouldn't get what we really wanted, or there was some kind of compromise somewhere. Not true for Deluxe Granite. We were happy with selection, material, timing, communication, installation, and cost! We are grateful for Deluxe Granite's work. Couldn't be happier. They even have excellent contacts for tile and handyman work. In fact we are having the tile work start tomorrow for the backsplash, which will look great with the new countertop! This was the best experience with any type of home installation or repair project we've had. I would HIGHLY recommend Deluxe Granite to anyone in the Tucson area.

The person coming into our home, Brandon (I think) was masked, on time and highly qualified to do the job. When I explained my tight schedule, JOKINGLY saying that only 6am would work for me, Brandon responded with "Ma'am, I can do that!" WHAT business says that??? Only a local one - only a GOOD one! At 6am the following day, he was in my driveway, on time. He completed in the time window he promised, leaving it beautiful! (see pictures below) Part of me wishes I would have taken BEFORE pictures of our tub and surrounding walls. Of course then, I would have been mortified! This tub was put in back when the home was built, in the 40's - so 80 YEARS AGO! No amount of bleach or cleaner would ever even make it look "sort of" ok - never mind actually wanting to "bathe" in it! Now, it's beautiful, it looks like a brand new tub!

What incredible choices & excellent service…read more Worked with Ernie at Dorado Stone and, after a brief meeting at the tile store prior to my visit to their yard, he had already narrowed down my choices to four pieces that were, frankly, so knock-out gorgeous that I had trouble selecting. Purchased a remnant, so the price is reasonable and I was treated like a rock star client, even for such a small job! That's the kind of customer service other companies should emulate. The stone is so beautiful that I feel like I am bringing a piece of artwork into my home. I am sure that everything will continue to be exceptional with the service and quality as we move into installation. But this was such a good experience so far that I needed to share and make this whole-hearted recommendation. Here's the only down side...although I have no idea how I would ever use them, I'm now having daydreams about the other beautiful natural stone I saw.

Unbeknown to me as to why, besides prior experience…read more Now granted, Rick Chao himself, installed my cabinets and for the majority of the work he addressed most of my concerns. However, I wish he would have designed our cabinets. Upon taking delivery and initial install, the builder specifically spelled out on the floor the appropriate dimensions for the bathroom vanities and ended up being oversized and had to remove and receive some sort of credit (still wondering how my handles supposedly offset that), but my primary gripe with this whole endeavor is that I feel my cabinets were unfinished. Excuse I received was that the proposal they put together was for a 2cm countertop (which they did not receive the bid) and I ended up going with a 3 cm countertop and they said that because the cabinets were designed with a 2 cm that the plywood ended up not being finished due to raising the countertop. Now, in my entire experience of constructing a new home; it is evident to me that there is no accountability for any of the subcontractors I've dealt with. Hence, I'm struggling to recommend these folks yet I'll still give them a decent review because they appropriately know how to charge and not back up the 'white glove' delivery per their bid. Rick is an awesome guy; but felt like he was trying to convince me to not patch the exposed OSB to not make it look like it was a cabinet issue but more of a countertop issue. So buyer beware of their lack of accountability. It was proposed that I should quote a stainless steel finish to make it look the countertop guys screwed up.
