I want to express my concerns regarding my experience with your office. I see Dr. Brun and believe…read morehe is an excellent doctor; however, due to unprofessional behavior from staff, I have decided that my last visit will be tomorrow. Specifically, a staff member at the Brooklyn location provided incorrect pre-authorization information stating that the pharmacy is the one that get the pre-auth and refused to transfer me to the Staten Island office, citing that the staff there were all busy. This has created a stressful and frustrating experience. Unfortunately, it seems the impact of staff behavior on patients may not always be recognized by the doctors. I am very disappointed with the staffing in your office. When calling, I have consistently experienced unhelpful and incorrect information, which has caused unnecessary stress. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving patient interactions moving forward.

I had my first ever colonoscopy today and absolutely nothing was explained to me about the procedure what would be happening or what to expect. The nurse anesthesiologist was adamant about putting the iv in my left hand after I repetitively told her NO and that I prefer my left arm. I explained I do not do well with that area, she continued to go on and on "let me try" I again told her NO I don't want to be stuck over and over again. Without my permission she proceeded to put the iv in my left hand and said " see that wasn't bad". Then enter Chen whose only word was good morning, and then I was out cold. I woke up in recovery in a bed and was told to move into a chair, no help from staff while I literally just opened my eyes and was still out of it. My clothes were given to me and told me to get dressed and the "dr" would come see me. She came by handed me a pile of papers and walked away. No explanation of anything or any answers to my initial problems of why I needed this procedure. This was the worst most unprofessional experience of my life. Not to mention my appt was 1130 and I was called and asked to come at 8. I sat in the waiting area until 850. Why are you making me come early to sit in the waiting area. The only positive thing about this place was the nice make receptionist. Other than that this place is a nightmare

First of all I've never seen a doctor who works on a first come first serve basis. This was my…read morefirst experience with the father "Dr Bill" as they called him. I went in because I was coughing and my nose was stuffy, wanted to make sure I didn't have something that needed antibiotics. I go in and one of the first things he asked is when was my last colonoscopy, then when was my last mammogram. He then tells me I have to come back and see his son to have a colonoscopy and writes me script to go across the street to a clinic they work with; I think it's my decision who I see and what procedures are done on my body. Then after telling him I'm hyper sensitive to antihistamines and on medication for cancer treatment, there was a back and forth for about a 1/2 hour where he kept telling me he was prescribing antihistamines for me and I kept telling him no I can't take them. Finally he says he's going to prescribe cough medicine. I go out to the girl at the desk and she says that I owed a $40 copay, I tell her what are you talking about, my insurance doesn't have a copay and I've reached out of pocket max on my insurance, she says there is still a $40 copay for the visit; I repeated I don't have a copay, what the heck are you talking about? She then realized she put the code in wrong. I go to the pharmacy to find out the medicine isn't covered on my insurance and has antihistamines in it! After another 45 minutes at the pharmacy they give me a replacement drug only to read on the paperwork Do Not Operate Machinery or A Car While On; Side Effects Dizziness, Drowsiness, and a Stuffy Nose among 25 other things. I call the office back and was told that they would give me paperwork to take a leave of absence from my job while on the medication, told them no way in hell!
