Can't say enough about Dr. Rudy. For the last year I've been to Orthopedics, Neurologists, PT,…read moreChiros, Primary l, got an epidural, you name it. Luckily, my ladyfriend made me promise her to go see Dr. Rudy because I was getting recommended back surgery at 40. He had helped her with her hip last year. Let me tell you, it was definitely not a traditional experience, partly because he actually cared, but it's the only thing that has worked. I've finally been able to roll out of bed in the morning without wanting to throw things off my balcony. Besides helping me get BACK to normalcy (see what I did there), he actually followed up. When the hell does that ever happen? Sincere gratitude and 100% recommendation from this guy.

A few weeks ago, I ended up consulting 4 different doctors to assess my hip pain and recommend treatment. After being diagnosed with osteoarthritis and recommended hip surgery, I reached out to Dr. Rudy for an alternate treatment. I didn't want drugs or surgery and wanted to know my options. He reduced my pain by 50% after 2 sessions with a change in diet and natural remedies. After 6 weeks of treatment and physical therapy, I'm 90% pain free. Pairing Dr. Rudy's treatment with PT and stem cell injection, I'm able to avoid hip replacement surgery!

I would tread lightly here. Went in for an annual physical covered by the ACA, with Dr. Brian…read moreStojak. By the time I left, my annual check up turned into two visits at the suggestion of the doctor. I was following his recommendation. Come to find out, he made a frivolous additional appointment to line his own pockets. He took advantage of me and "double-dipped" with the extra appointment. Additionally, I was told my annual wasn't covered b/c i asked questions outside of the scope of and annual visit. I was told discussing my daily medication at an annual check up is not allowed. Really? I have no idea what those questions are. Another bate and switch, this time by the doctor's office and my insurance, Its the new "pre-existing" conditions so that insurance doesn't have to pay. I asked the doctor to change the coding on the annual visit and he wouldn't. I'm not going back and deciding my next course of action. I warn you to stay way. Find an honest healthcare system to work with.

I find it hard to believe that this facility, with its gold guided ceilings and custom upholstery, can't keep track of how they're showing up in a database for the largest and virtually only payer in the state. This place is a lot of bougie nonsense decor and poor care. THIS is what's wrong with American healthcare. Ridiculous!

When I broke my leg last year (2016) I was taken to St. Francis in Evanston. This was a Friday and…read moreI was told I'd have to wait until Monday for surgery. Dr. Levi came in on Sunday to do surgery on another patient and I was added to the surgery list. The surgery floor was dark and empty. The only folks there were Dr. Levi's surgical team. He spent the entire 5 minutes before surgery berating his staff for a minor issue with the consent form. Surgery went well and the incision was neat and clean. I went to a rehab facility and, two weeks later I had a follow up appointment with Dr. Levi. Since I was in a wheelchair with my surgically stabilized leg in a brace sticking straight out, I took a Medicar. The driver was wonderful. But, Dr. Levi does not have a accessible facility! There is no parking. No easy way to get up the curb, a large step up to the door. They have a folding ramp inside. The place is dingy. The equipment old. Good luck crawling on the X-ray table! People in the waiting room are the kind of patient folks that are so used to being treated poorly that they take it as normal. His rehab. facility has a steady flow of clients coming for therapy. I can not say how he was because I never saw him. His nurse reviewed the X-rays and removed the staples. I started looking for another orthopedist. I was never coming back. But, I feel badly for all his other patients. They have insurance just like me. Maybe they have workmanship compensation? They have learned to just accept whatever is presented. They deserve better!

Dr. Roberto Levi not only diagnosed the problem but, he repaired it. He got me back to work in a timely manner. I've had 7 other sugeries with Dr. Levi and he has never failed me. He's honest and to the point. I'd recommend him 10 out of 10 times! I have read some of the other reviews. It's unfortunate that they may have had a bad experience. Most of the negative comments have to do with staff failure. Dr. Roberto Levi is straight forward and to the point! He will not coddle you. However, you won't be disappointed with his surgical expertise! The facility has never been dirty or roach infestested! Most Med-Car drivers know that there's a portable ramp for those unable to walk. I have never settled for service!
