After my pregnancy, my bones had shifted in ways that I could not even imagine. My lower back and hips were causing me so much pain that I would often end up in tears on the floor. Whether laying, standing or sitting, I could not escape the sciatica and shooting pains down my left leg and around my hips. At my first appointment, he provided me with my diagnosis and explained the direct causes of my pain and how to mitigate future pain by correcting my posture at home. Daniel was amazing. I went in for an issue I been having after a family trip. I wasn't able to sleep right, my neck felt stiff and I was getting head aches through out the day. Finally gave in to trying out Gonstead. I had a co-worker of mine who became interested in this procedure after seeing some videos. So he found Daniel Choe and gave some great reviews about him. I tried him out and he was able to fix all my issues. Even issues I didn't even tell him about. My back pains went away, I was able to sleep right again and my head aches went away. The best part of all this he fix my shoulder. I never thought my shoulder issue would be because of my back. Without telling Daniel anything about my shoulder, he found out right away after checking out my spine. He did a quick strength test and found out my right shoulder would lose strength when trying to hold something up. For example like a normal regular push up. I always thought it was due to me hurting my should a lot. I have dislocated my right shoulder like 3 times. But after doing that test and Daniel fixing my back. I'm the biggest baby when it comes to pain. Seriously these sessions are painless even though it sounds like a lot of cracking is going on. It wasn't until my acupuncturist retired and my craniosacral therapist was out of town that I was willing to try chiropractic treatment. The idea of cracking my joints with a chiropractor was daunting, but my childhood friend recommended I visit Dr. Choe who had successfully treated her after her major car accident. After a bad back fall from martial arts, my symptoms of sciatic pain, tendonitis, leg weakness and not having range of my neck got worse. I had frequent headaches and I could hear my neck clicking a lot. I felt like I was falling apart and the pain was hindering me from making life choices. I couldn't even drive without limping out of my car. After months of suffering in pain, I sucked up my fear and doubt to book an appointment to see Dr. Choe. The friendly receptionist on the phone was so kind and understanding. I was fortunate enough to receive same day care as my pain became debilitating and really depressing to deal with. I'm so glad I did the x-ray too, so I could SEE for myself proof that my back and neck were really outta whack! Prior to seeing the film, I was skeptical anything severe could be seen. Boy was I surprised to see for myself the visible misalignment which explained my muscle spasms and nerve pain throughout my entire body. I feel SO MUCH BETTER now. Dr. Choe = Simply Amazing. I suffered from hip pain that seemingly appeared out of nowhere when I started exercising. The onslaught of acute pain that coursed through my right hip with each excruciatingly nightmarish step made me wince in misery. Yet, I also silently cringed inside at the prospect of finding out what this pain truly entailed; I read in a health magazine about a woman runner who discovered she had arthritis in her early thirties! Therefore, I went to see a nurse practitioner who listened to my symptoms and simply prescribed that I take heavy doses of an OTC drug Naproxen. Foremost, the pills did not even take the edge off the pain. Moreover, when I went back to her hoping for a better diagnosis, an x-ray might have been a good start, she uttered words that made my worst fears become realized, "there is a possibility you might have arthritis". She also told me to continue to take medication as needed. A second opinion was in order, so a friend recommended Dr. Choe to me; this man truly knows his craft. As soon as he looked over my x-rays, he knew exactly what the problem was, and with a few astutely placed questions, he was even able to assess how I might have gotten myself in this physical predicament. He didn't confuse me with medical jargon, but more or less modestly explained that my body when properly aligned would have the capacity to heal itself over therapy (in my case, the adjustments) and time. After our first session, he also recommended and demonstrated pertinent stretches that would facilitate my recovery on top of the treatments I would receive. My body did heal and what a true blessing it was to walk out of my world of hurt, simply amazing. Dr. Choe is a warm, compassionate, and professional doctor of integrity and expertise with whom one could trust. What I truly like about Dr. Choe is his holistic approach to healing and his genuine love for his vocation. One can sense his satisfaction in helping others. I also respect how he does not mince words, but is honest and forthright about the necessary treatment(s) at hand, and the patient's participation in the healing process. Dr. Choe started treating me when he joined Gohl Chiropractic Practice with Dr. Kim. I would trust either one of these fine chiropractors with my spine. Dr. Choe is very meticulous in his assessment and adjustments. He is patient and down to earth, which makes it easy to share my concerns. I never feel rushed, and I'm always amazed how focused he remains even while carrying on a conversation with me. He'll even adjust areas that I'm not aware needs to be tweaked. My problem areas always get addressed, and I leave the office feeling much better aligned sans the kinks. My active life has been much more enjoyable and productive. Chiropractic medicine doesn't always get the accolades that it deserves in managing pain without the need for pharmaceutical intervention, like the heavy use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (e.g. ibuprofen), which can harm your kidneys with long term use. As a pharmacist, I believe that there are many ways to manage pain, and it does not necessarily need to involve medications or surgical intervention. Hello everyone, this is THE first time I am actually put the time and write about the young and so talent doctor " Daniel Choe ", for your info, I do know a lots of chiropractors, some are friends and some are just heard about them, but when I went to see and visit " Daniel Choe", whom is working on the same building and same office of the master of all chiropractics ( Dr, Gohl ), I was so surprised to see a young man sitting in the same place of Dr. Gohl was , not to trust him, was the first word comes to my mind, but after he start treated me and the way he diagnose the pain that I had and the way he choose to start working on me, made me to start changing my first thought about him. he spend TIME on me, unlike other chiropractor guys : as you all know that you are in and you are out, but Daniel Choe spent time ...I mean it, at list and average 1.5 hours, every session, the pain on my left arm and left rest was there for about six months , and a few other guys "chiropractic" they did treated me, no help , but this guy has really talent and touch , after ten session I am that much happy to site down and write about him, and show him my respect and I have to say he deserved to sit in the same office of his master Dr. Gohl.
