I had successful back/disc surgery many years ago but recently started having symptoms of a pinched nerve in my lower back with nerve pain running down my right leg. I knew if I went to a spine surgeon they would recommend surgery and that is something I did not want to have. Consequently, through my Pilates instructor I found Dr. Aaron and Flintridge Family chiropractic office with hope that he could help me. After an extensive consultation, x-rays and an agreed-upon treatment plan I dedicated myself to three visits per week for two-three months. The results of my visits and treatment so far have been nothing short of extraordinary. When I made the appointment, I was told the price with an XRAY and the price without the XRAY. I said I did not want an XRAY, and the receptionist indicated that would be fine. When Dr Choe gave me an initial exam, he said I needed an XRAY. I told him I had spoken to the receptionist about that, and I did not want an XRAY. He then said he didn't think this was the right treatment for me, and sent me home telling me to do an exercise from YouTube at home. I didn't appreciate driving there and back (1 1/2 hours round trip) just to have the Dr refuse to treat me. The receptionist was nice, but I doubt she told Dr Choe that I didn't want an XRAY.

I went in with actual pain and was sold a membership for four sessions per month at $89. The care itself was nothing special. The real problem started when I called a few months later to cancel. I was told cancellation could not normally be done over the phone, but that an exception would be made for me. That cancellation never happened. Instead, I was charged for roughly another six months, totaling over $600, with no sessions used and no meaningful help from the location. You would think that after paying for months of unused membership charges, I would at least have sessions available. I do not. When I called again and explained what happened, another representative told me she would speak with the manager and call me back on a specific day. That call never came either. So the pattern here was simple: they were available when selling the membership, unavailable when fixing the cancellation issue, and silent when asked to follow up. My advice: do not sign up for the membership unless you get every cancellation detail in writing. Do not rely on a phone conversation. Do not assume they will correct billing mistakes. Watch your account closely, because once the charges stack up, you may be left with no refund, no sessions, and no accountability. I regret signing up here and would not recommend this location to anyone.

He truly loves his job, patients, and believe this is his calling. 10/10 recommend for any of his services (he also does a spectrum of wellness treatments, from skin, to weight, lifestyle, stress management of which EVERY treatment he puts as much care and research of the best natural methods possible)! Originally, I came to him for acupuncture in desperation after my car accident where my herniated disc and pinched nerves caused pain, numbness and tingling (see below for full description of my issues). After assessing my condition, Dr. Lee knew I would need more, so he suggested acupuncture, EMS therapy, and spinal decompression machine. Even though my insurance only covered acupuncture, he gave me a great deal on the other treatments to make sure I could get better. He also added massage, red light therapy AND ultrasound therapy FREE OF CHARGE. Total value of all these treatments at other places I called were 3-4x more!! I was kind of skeptical, but DESPERATE. Within 3 weeks, I got more relief from his treatments than the 2 YEARS IN PT!! WHAT THE HELLY! Within 6 weeks, I regained the strength in my hands and severely reduced pain/numbness. I also used to take a ton of medications for the pain and nerve issues... after 2 months, I was off ALL MEDS! Talk about life-saver.
