After reading such positive reviews, I was confident in my decision to see Dr. Choe. Unfortunately after 5 appointments, I am quite disappointed in my experience. My first appointment cost $300 because he determined within 2 minutes that I would need x-rays. Additionally, it was indicated that my first appointment would include an "examination" which raised the price of the appointment by an additional $70. During the first appointment, I underwent the same procedures that were performed in subsequent "adjustment" visits and I'm still unsure what the "examination" entailed that cost me extra. After showing the X-rays to my primary care doctor, I am also doubtful that they were necessary or even useful. Many reviews indicated that Dr. Choe takes time with each patient; I didn't find this to be the case. I'm aware that many chiropractic adjustments are only 15-30 minutes, but the appointment windows at this office are only 10 minutes. I overheard the secretary saying that 58 patients were scheduled for same day. Unfortunately the doctor is not forthcoming with helpful advice nor does he explain what he is observing or adjusting. I made efforts in each appointment to ask for more useful advice regarding lifestyle and exercise and received very brief responses, many of which I had to prompt the answers to myself. I would have liked for him to have taken the opportunity to inform me about other ways I could improve and maintain the health of my back. He was adamant that my lower back issues would be solved by repeated adjustments but I am left with the same pain after 5 appointments. read more

Since he wanted to see how I'd reacted to the adjustments, he'd separate some session into two visits in the same day and still only charged for one visit. I developed lower back pain after a car accident in 1990 and have been using Chiropractic treatments ever since then. I heard that Dr. Gohl had an outstanding Chiropractic technique and after a short period of time, my back felt great once again. I am pain-free over 90% of the time and the remaining 10% is usually due to my waiting too long for my next adjustment. I had a dislocated elbow for about 1 1/2 years (from a fall), and thought it was just healing improperly, hence the stiffness and recent pain. Dr. Daniel didn't even need an xray to figure out it was dislocated. After only 2 sessions I am 100%!! First session he worked on my nerves that were involved, second session popped it back into place (had to have 2 appointments because my elbow was too swollen to fix all in one setting).
