I came in due to their favorable reviews and was hopeful they could help me with my herniated disk and pain shooting up through my leg. After initial consultation, I signed up to do a few sessions per week (to get the maximum results). I was hopeful that the sessions would help my condition but did not see any improvement. I thought it was strange but didn't even say anything when I was told my body needs to be in alignment with the planet... After going for a couple of months, there was no improvement. It walks like a duck and sounds like a duck... If you want to believe in the power of crystals, if you eschew science, then Anthony Chiropractic is for you. His practice is based on snake oil. He does a standard limb strength test by pushing with his full body weight on a limb, then does this grunt, press with a knuckle thing (NOT an adjustment) and "retests" by using a light pressure of just his hands and mutters 'ummm, that's better'. Really? How? Worse still, he yanked on my arm in such a way as to severely injure me! A week later my sprained limb is still painful and of limited use. To add insult to injury (literally) he then had the nerve to charge me! I put up with this for 10 days including 4-5 more "treatments" that included 15 seconds to crack my neck in one direction and lots of grunting and knuckle twists. He knows that after that long odds are the patient will likely heal naturally. Instead my pain is the same (as I reported to him repeatedly as I did the arm pain) or, perhaps a bit worse. He might as well be heading a cult for all his 'miracle' creams and books he's trying to sell. I can not recommend any part of this practice. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Anthony for about 10 years now, and he is a wonderful practitioner. My favorite thing about him is that he consistently goes to workshops and new trainings every year to be as up to date on patient care as possible. I've never had an experience like Realist I. And from my research, he was a repeating customer before moving to Oregon and there were challenging circumstances in which Dr. A had to miss a few days of work. The amazing thing about Doc is that he uses so many techniques for healing, including a spinal adjustment, the B.E.S.T. technique, and muscle testing for other alignments, such as rib, shoulder, etc. He even adjusts my diaphragm if I'm having problems singing, which is my career. The emotional release technique is fantastic, and I always run to his office if I've had a traumatic emotional or physical event so it can be released as soon as possible. Might sounds a little weird, but it really makes a difference. X-Rays, Biofeedback, and massage are all readily available at his office. I am writing my first review about a business ever!! I am SO happy with the interactions I have had with a chiropractor that I feel compelled to share this experience with the world!! I visited Dr. Mark Anthony of Anthony Chiropractic, Inc. after years of pain and discomfort in my lower back, hip and knee. I always thought that chiropractors just simply cracked backs and necks and sent people on their way until the next adjustment. Not so with Dr. Mark!! He spent an hour with me learning about my past sports injuries and educated me on just how the back, our nervous system and the rest of our entire bodies are connected. He showed me which vertebrae did what in our bodies, and which ones of mine were out of alignment. He then proceeded to adjust me and explained how to properly sit and walk to help keep myself aligned. I am here to tell you that after a few adjustments that my hip, knee, shoulder and neck are all aligned the way they should be and I feel FANTASTIC!! Let me start of by saying this was my first experience with a chiropractor, I have always been led to be very skeptical luckily an excellent massage therapist recommended Dr. Anthony when she could do no more to help me. My doctors increasing prescriptions were not working. I had injured my back and could not walk and was crying in pain when my husband took me in. Doctor Anthony worked on me with a combination of some adjustments that clicked made sense and felt right, and some others that seemed a bit strange and esoteric but the bottom line is .. it worked and he did a great job! I left his office and I was able to walk immediately. I was still stiff and sore and had a lot of joint pain but immediately I had a 70% improvement. I went back the next day and he got me to 80% better.... I will update as this progresses. I am so grateful as my GP was just throwing more drugs at a mechanical problem..
