Bought three pair of Toto sneakers. They all developed problems at the heel. I feel that they have a defective design. No positive response from the store. Cost $ 140 each. One would have to save the receipt, the packaging, and return within 30 days. Not likely if you believe in the reputation of the store would resolve the problem read more

Sean, the manager at this store, is awesome. I brought in a pair of boots I purchased almost a year ago and explained how they were defective. Sean was helpful in finding me a new pair (better pair!) and was kind all the way through. Thank you so much for being gracious!! read more

Helpful staff and a nice selection! I think I'm done with the ordeal of ordering/returning shoes online in batches...sometimes it's nicer to do things the old school way :) read more

These boots with retractable ice cleats fit fabulously! They have really changed my life! Whereas I used to be scared and apprehensive every time I had to go walking across the parking lot from my car across snow-covered or icy roads - I was terrified! Now I have a level of confidence and freedom from fear that I never had before so thank you! These boots are amazing! Not only have they improved my life as far as safety is concerned, I get remarks about how stylish they are all the time! And the customer service was amazing. I had an issue regarding the delivery of my boots and I placed a phone call and received a call back the very same day. Customer service for this company rocks! These boots are also completely waterproof! I walked through a mud puddle 5 inches deep and I did not get wet feet! I really am amazed with these boots! read more

An amazing store with amazing employees. I was looking for shoes that are pull ins for a friend with some disabilities. Tim helped me find the right shoe and also agreed to help widen them If they were a bit tight . Every visit I have at Danform is excellent . Great selection of shoes and other items . I give it an A+ rating . Connie Metz read more

I highly recommend Danform. Their prices are competitive and the service is un-matched. Tim helped me out with the purchase of my new Blundstone boots - he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. He was not pushy, he walked me through the options and helped me make a decision that I'm very happy with. Sue was also friendly and helpful. read more

I love this store! The sales staff and the merchandise they carry are just what I like. Beyond that it's a locally owned business that empowers their sales staff to make decisions. I tend to be a shopper who likes to find the best deal, but I've given that up with shoes. The service that I get, and how they reward you for their your loyalty makes it well worth paying full price. read more

Could not have had a better experience. Salesman Carroll was extremely knowledgeable and gracious in his customer service. Ach! My feet are complicated and his advice led me to a great walking/working shoe. Huge fan of Danform and this type of experience is what keeps me coming back. read more

I went to the shoe store to try to find Blunstone boots. The employees were more than helpful! All of them were so nice, if you're looking for help picking out a new shoe definitely go here. read more

Best. Shoe. Store. Ever. Whoever's buying for this place really gets it right. All the best brands- Dansko, Ecco, Frye, London Fly, etc- and the bargain basement deals are amazing. I stop by often when I'm in Burlington and always bring friends who visit. Love read more

This is the only place I go when I need good quality shoes. The staff is very helpful, there is always a large selection of shoes for whatever activity you are doing, and the bargain basement is amazing with deals. Thank you for always helping me find the best shoes every time!! read more

This danform shoes is larger than the one in colchester and Burlington. There is a bargain basement downstairs where you can find kids, men, and women shoes for 50-80% off. The size shown is all they have though. There is also a small apparel and jewelry clearance downstairs as well. The shoes here are expensive. They range from $60-300. The quality of the shoes are great though! You definitely pay for the quality! read more

This is the best shoe store in the area from what I found. Great service. Great selecting. Knowledgeable staff. Patient. Actually helped me. Not like other stores where you go through the boxes and try them in yourself. Which really seems lame. I just moved back to Vermont after four years in LA. So I barely have anything to wear for winter in snow and cold. I got amazing winter boot today for heavy use. Going back tomorrow to get more kinds for different uses warm dry feet are a must in Vermont and finding store with great help. Good prices. Variety of styles. The store was bustling today. And the boots I got I saw someone else trying on and she recommended them highly. Clearly customers return to this store repeatedly. Also there's a bargain basement. I didn't find anything today down there but I'm in need of in season boots. As I said urgently. So happy with my new boots!! read more

Thank you Shaun for the great service. We will definitely be back. You were amazing! Karen and Danielle read more

Wow the prices are sky high!!! I came in looking for a pair of boots and thought this would be a good place to go. I was looking to spend hopefully under $100 and they sent me downstairs to their clearance room. Like with most clearance rooms, everything was picked over well. My size was barely there (size 9-10) for boots. The lady downstairs was sweet but the upstairs staff seemed very disinterested in me once I said my price range. I didn't even get a thank you for stopping by or anything on my way out. Very disappointed. I won't return. read more

The guy who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed me sneakers that worked best for my foot type (flat and pronated) and was patient while I tried them on. Overall, excellent service, would highly recommend checking out the Danform in Shelburne. read more

We buy our shoes here on occasion. I bought a pair today and received some unneeded but great advice about keeping salt off your shoes. I think the two out of two $s is wrong. According to my budget it is 3-4$. read more

Ok so im a local native Vermonter and darn tough socks are for sure excellent products! I almost puked on myself when I saw this store CHARGES 25$ FOR A PAIR OF SOCKS! 25 dollars for a pair of socks? really? Was shocked! No sock on earth should be 25 dollars for a pair I mean cmon mang! read more

They sold me on a guarantee with the fact that by paying extra 40.00 dollars, compared to online, you are supporting a local business. I was told if there was anything wrong with them in a years time that I could get me shoes. I explained that I am very hard on my shoes and discussed to make sure that I would comply with the warranty. They said no problem. Four months later my KEEN's were falling apart. (KEEN's quality has gone down in the last few years)....so I brought them in to the Shelburne Road location. One woman thought I was lying to her! That their was no way that I could have bought them four months ago. The ended up not being able to read the manufactures numbers on my boots and said I will have to "take it up" with Keen. Do not fall into their overpriced shoes! Go try them on and use their services because in the end they will just use you....then just buy them online or have them match an online price read more

They have such great shoes here. I love the bargain basement. The staff is always helpful.

For Christmas I received a Frye boots gift card. The closest Frye store is in Boston, so I stopped by this store, which I have shopped at often in the past, to ask for help in fitting boots and to see if they would honor the card as a Frye dealer. The sales rep I spoke to told me that she was philosophically opposed to helping me knowing that she would not get a sale out of spending her time with me-- even though the store was quite quiet, and even though she admitted they do not run on commission. She told me I was welcome to try another sales rep, but she would not assist me. Not only was this a poor decision as it relates to customer service-- my shopping partner was also shopping for shoes for work, and we took his business to Lenny's Shoe and Apparel, where they were quite happy to have his business. He purchased a very expensive pair of shoes from them. Not only did she lose Danform that sale, but her choice to provide bad customer service on this day lost 2 customers. We won't return. I was very disappointed in this experience, and specifically her attitude that I was a waste of her time. read more

I rarely do these reviews, but this store, particularly an employee named, John, had such great customer service, that I had to! My boyfriend and I went and bought three pairs of shoes. I bought a pair of Danskos and had to return them twice because once I got to work and tried them, I would realize they were too small (I think it had to do with a temperature/feet swelling thing. John helped us all three times and was super patient and eager to help me find a pair that were comfortable. It was really a great experience and I would definitely go again! read more

Just go and feel like a queen for a few hours. Danform shoes is an amazing local company that I would highly recommend to anyone with a number of locations. This store on Shelburne Road is particularly phenomenal. I have been twice, and both times I have had an incredible experience with their customer service! Today, the manager, Sean Bailey personally measured my feet, asked me what I was looking for, brought out a variety of shoes to try on, and gave excellent advice on them all. He even stayed late to make sure I had the best fit for my new job! I always feel like royalty when I go and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this store to anyone looking for anything from business casual to sandals to birks to mucking shoes. They have it all. Bonus if Sean is there. Perk he looks like David Tennant :D I went in for one pair of shoes and came out with 2 pairs of shoes and 3 pairs of socks and I couldn't be happier. read more

This is a really good shoe store, with very good selections of quality shoes, boots, and Keenes. Good service there as well. Very nice people who help out and are not obnoxious. read more

I have shopped here several times, but today was my last time. Absolutely awful customer service on multiple occasions. Female manager particularly rude, and refused to honor discount for work shoes. Normally I always try to buy locally, and always give retailers the benefit of the doubt, but after my several experiences here I can't in good conscience recommends this establishment to anyone. read more

Sadly, this store has really gone downhill in customer service, For years it was tops, but it seems to have adopted the motto: "the customer is always wrong". They actaully fought with me over a defective product and did not back their guarantee. Certainly never will I shop there again read more
