Cut into quarters and served in a basket. Your mouth will love the taste of the pillows of soft warm bread. And the complex mix of afghan spiced lamb (or chicken) skewers. Having spent 18 months in India I've eaten plenty of Indian food, this is not the best but its really authentic. If you like unfussy South Indian food this is the place. The style of the restaurant is really basic, you come here to eat! The prices reflect this, I can't remember what I paid, not much more than ten bucks all in. We shared and I tried the thali, the idli, the masala dosa, all of them are exactly to standard, tasty and satisfying. The ladies working here are friendly in a polite warm way. They came over and checked the food wasn't too spicy for the young teenage boys I had in tow, it wasnt which made them really happy! Such a sweet place, no frills and no pocket damage!
