Great restaurants (Tisha's is the best) and ice cream parlors. I like the fact that even behind the stores there are benches to sit in the shade. I've never left here without something ( fudge, peanut butter, clothes, etc). If you're in Wildwood or Cape May it's a great place to spend a few hours killing time and shopping or dining out.

It's also not super big, so you can walk up and down without having to spend a lot of time getting to where you want to go. Every time I've been here, I've had the opportunity to enter the Star-of-the-Sea's car raffle (in front of the Church on the East end) ...one of these days I'm gonna win;) The other great thing about the Mall is that much of the other things to see/do in Cape May are within easy walking distance - more restaurants, B&Bs, mini golf, arcades, more shops, the beach... The gentleman who helped me during my last visit was the same from my first and was so very pleasant and helpful. He had grabbed new items still in plastic to replicate the items that I had taken from the shelf which I found so considerate. Definitely stop in if you are in the area! Sunset Beach is a must-visit every time I go to the Jersey Cape - have watched the ship off shore slowly be reclaimed by the elements. It has also been interesting to watch the little shops slowly expand and update from year to year - now featuring plenty (usually) of parking, a mini golf course, a small but nice restaurant, nearby concrete WWII tower converted to a museum, etc. I have noticed that the Cape May Diamonds® are thinning out a bit compared to the late 70s, but there are still plenty to find - which makes this a great location to take the kids & the great thing is you don't have to spend a dime if you don't want to. Also, there is a reason for the name - great location to watch sunsets out over the bay! Highly recommended!
