This is my favorite yoga studio. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The instructors are great! They are knowledgeable and professional. I've never felt intimidated to walk into this studio. There is never any judgement only encouragement no matter what your fitness level is. I love the this studio. A new owner purchased this studio about 3 years ago. She is a retired high school teacher that found yoga at a second stage in her life. Her joy is infectious and it's apparent with her staff and members that attend. It is a wonderful addition to our community in Bluffton. She is always hosting different community workshops that are wonderful to be able to attend in our small town. read more

My sorority sisters and I booked a private class with Libby for one of our sisterhood events! She blew away our expectations and made us all feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. She got to know us and what our sorority is about and really incorporated that into her message. She made sure that everyone felt comfortable in what they were doing. I HIGHLY recommend booking a private class with Libby - extremely affordable and an amazing class. The majority of our girls left wanting to sign up for future classes :) read more

Dancing Dogs Yoga Bluffton - Yoga Near Me - Bluffton, South Carolina

This studio is amazing! I've been going on and off for 10 years. The sense of community is like no other studio I've practiced at. The teachers and students are all so encouraging, no matter what level yogi you are. read more

Very warm and friendly studio. Great sense of community compared to other yoga studios I have attended. Teachers are confident and lead great classes. Took a hiatus due to being busy with some life things, but fully plan on returning when my schedule opens. read more

Recently while visiting family in Bluffton, SC I attended a yoga class at Dancing Dogs. Living in Los Angeles there are a plethora of studios and teachers to choose from, I was surprised to find so few studios in the Hilton Head area. Dancing Dogs teaches Baptiste style of yoga and in the 30 years of practicing yoga I was unaware of this method.... which means nothing. The class that I attended was a power Vinyasa, it was packed and the room was warm. The teacher, whose name I can't recall, was very good.. he instructed well and I was able to follow, transitioning between poses easily. The studio is clean however the yoga room doesn't allow much space between students when practicing. What I found most appealing about Dancing Dogs was the community. Those practicing yoga at this location seem to know each other and appear to be supportive of one another. After the class the students hung out and chatted. The teacher of our class had just completed a study with Baron Baptiste, the class was filmed and the students were particularly enthusiastic in support of him. Finding this type of community in a metropolitan city is uncommon but seeing this at Dancing Dogs was refreshing. read more

Dancing Dogs Yoga is an amazing yoga studio filled with trained yoga teachers and assistants. They are extremely caring and dedicated to providing an authentic yoga experience. The atmosphere is wonderful. Each class challenges the yogis to step outside their comfort zone and reach new possibilities within themselves. The method, Baptiste Yoga- created by Baron Baptiste, is intense yet allows you to create success from where you are in your practice. Shelley Lowther, owner and facilitator, encourages strengthening community and strives to communicate, in all of her classes, that we are nothing if not for the support of one another. All of the teachers working in the studio share this same belief as a corner-stone for creating an authentic yoga practice and community. read more

For every bad review I write, there's at least 3 good ones... And this one is VERY good. Love the space, love the teachers, love the hot Baptiste Power Yoga, love that it's 10 minutes from my parents' house. Great energy and light, perfect amount I of heat in a non competitive environment that is hard to find with power yoga. Love it. read more

When Shelley Lowther told me she was opening a studio in Bluffton, I was so excited. I love the friendly, fun and peaceful atmosphere of Dancing Dogs Yoga. The studio space is big and open and the staff is amazing. I hug the instructors before I leave! The Baptiste Power Vinyasa is a challenging form of yoga and one of the best workouts I have ever had (and I have tried almost all). I'm a busy mom and I try to go three to four times a week. I was intimidated at first, because I'm inflexible and I'm a bit out of shape. But since I've been regularly going to Dancing Dogs Yoga, I've noticed differences in my body, as well as a decrease in my overall stress levels. This is for everyone - not matter your body shape or fitness level. read more

Love this community of yogis. Offering everything from gentle yoga to HIT vinyasa flow yoga. Classes are offered 7 days a week starting as early as 6 am to as late as 7:30 pm. No excuse that there isn't a time to go to class. Teachers are extremely knowledgeable about the practice. Never in a rut because they offer so much. Heated and unseated classes re available. Everyone is a beginner yogi at first. If you don't start you won't grow. So get on your mat at Dancing Dogs Yoga Bluffton! read more

If you are in or around the Beaufort area, this is the BEST place to practice yoga. I've visited a number of studios in other cities and this one is by far the best I've seen. The studio is impeccably clean and has an array of classes from beginners to intermediate. If you are a kid, have kids, or have grandkids, you'll fit right in. Be prepared to get a good workout though! If you are visiting Beaufort or if you live in Beaufort, this is the only studio I would recommend. Namaste! read more

Dancing Dogs Yoga is a great place to meet your mat! Shelley the owner is very inviting along with the rest of her staff. I started at this studio summer of last year and have been in love with the community feel ever since. There are several classes given at different times as well as workshops to participate in. I couldn't be more happy with the advances I have made in my yoga practice. read more

Heres the deal with DDY! The teachers are inexperienced and have a superior attitude! I purchased a small class package and found the studio and environment to be so uninviting that I only used 3 of the 5 classes! The instructor never asked me who i was or if i had any physical concerns. They pretty much treated me as if i was lucky to be in their class! The instructors only teach baptiste yoga, and are not able to incorporate all levels into a class. I was amazed when i saw a classmate who was new to yoga try a pose that she should have never been exposed to! Hey.... if you want a class on concrete floors, told to get sloppy on your mat (what the heck does that mean??) and without a clear class flow..... DDY yoga is the place to be! read more
