The choreography is definitely more advanced than every other Zumba class I have taken, but it's fun! It doesn't matter if you get the steps right, it's just important to get some exercise and have fun. In addition to the dancing/cardio, she dedicates a song to arms, a song to legs, and a song for abs in each session. The morning classes are more open 8-10 people, and the night time and Saturday classes are packed. The night classes are fun because it's dark and they have black lights on. It's a fun atmosphere. And I have met a bunch of really nice people here. I'm only on my 5th class out of the 20 I paid for, but I am definitely finding that I'm extremely motivated, and looking forward to class! I plan on continuing after my Groupon runs up!

I have taken all of the classes offered here and loved every one. My first Zumba class I was so nervous ! The instructor told me just keep moving and the more you come the more you will get the moves but the most important things are sweat and have fun. Boy did I sweat but had so much fun doing it My first TTSU class was just as nerve wracking but the instructor modified things for me discreetly and I felt stronger then I had ever imagined. I have found my fitness "home"

After 10 years at this dance studio, my daughter has grown tremendously as a dancer, but she has…read morealso built strong, lasting friendships and memories that will stay with her forever. Ms. Linda, the owner, genuinely care about each dancer and create such a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment. The studio has taught my daughter confidence, teamwork, dedication, and a true love for dance. Watching her grow here over the years has been such a gift for our family. We are incredibly grateful for everything this studio has given our daughter.

My child was treated differently in a way that was impossible to ignore- dismissive, exclusionary, and painfully racist. Watching any child be made to feel unwelcome/lesser in a space that should be safe and encouraging was heartbreaking. On top of that, the staff (specifically Miss Nicole Carey) was rude, cold, and offered no instruction whatsoever. No guidance, no patience, no professionalism- just attitude and neglect. A dance studio should build confidence and joy, not shame and confusion. If you can't treat all children (including ALL nationalities & backgrounds) with kindness, fairness, and basic human decency, you should not be teaching them. I would truly NEVER recommend this studio to any parent. Do better- or don't work with children at all.

Three-floored community with a variety of dance classes. Came here on a Saturday for an impromptu…read moreSamba dance class at 1:30pm. It's just one stop away on the red line from Harvard, so it's a convenient option for students. It's $15 for the samba class, but they'll take cash and credit card. There's a Santander right across the street if you need an ATM, since some of the classes are cash only. Note for Bank of America cardholders, there is a $3 ATM fee. There is a gender neutral bathroom available The 1:30-3pm Samba class was super fun. It was my first time doing Samba, but the teacher was super energetic and there are plenty of other beginners so you don't have to feel awkward. You can put your stuff on the right hand side along the wall, and there's plenty of mirror space so you can watch yourself shake it. There were people of all ages and it was good vibes all around. It started with a warm up and then payment, and then the actual Samba class. There was even a live band that played while we danced. At the end, there was a dance circle and everyone left sweaty but happy. The dance center overall is a cool spot and you can try out a number of different dance styles and classes no matter what age you are. I noticed on the bulletin board they have kid classes as well.

It can be uncomfortable just to be standing in that kind of weather, let alone doing cardio for an hour plus. Honestly, this seems irresponsible to me, and I'm confused by the fact that they don't seem to be concerned about heat stroke. There are definitely days when the only reason I don't go to class is because there's no AC. I also wish they had contemporary classes (they have one "contemporary modern" once a week, which is not the same as contemporary).
