Most were younger adults (where I'm almost 50). Everyone was nice and the instructor choreographed a beautiful routine. I just wish I was in better "dance shape" to have kept up. I mistook "open" for beginner and I would not say it was a beginner class. You need to know basic terminology of dance to keep up at all. If they ever offer a beginner class I'd be apt to come back.

Even the oldest students performing (high school aged) had to start dances over as they had no clue what they were supposed to be doing. Neither of my daughter's instructors were present for the dress rehearsal or recital. Although considering the time the teachers spent playing on their cell phones during class, this should come as no surprise. But the end of the line, was the lack of supervision backstage. There were countless ADULTS (both men and women) in and out of the dressing room throughout the performance, and none of the teachers even seemed to notice. My daughter was not onstage for the finale of the show, causing me to panic and hurry to the dressing room, where I found here sobbing because one of the other students told her she wasn't allowed to participate in the finale. Not only did none of the teachers or backstage chaperones step in to correct the other child, they didn't even notice that my daughter was missing from the stage! I promptly found the owner to discuss, and she wasn't even aware of the situation. As a mother, my utmost concern is my daughter's safety and well being, and I feel that this school doesn't consider the safety of their students at all. I wouldn't recommend this school to someone I disliked, let alone anyone i knew and cared for. Save your money and go to any other school, I guarantee they'll keep better track of your child than Expressions.

The choreography is definitely more advanced than every other Zumba class I have taken, but it's fun! It doesn't matter if you get the steps right, it's just important to get some exercise and have fun. In addition to the dancing/cardio, she dedicates a song to arms, a song to legs, and a song for abs in each session. The morning classes are more open 8-10 people, and the night time and Saturday classes are packed. The night classes are fun because it's dark and they have black lights on. It's a fun atmosphere. And I have met a bunch of really nice people here. I'm only on my 5th class out of the 20 I paid for, but I am definitely finding that I'm extremely motivated, and looking forward to class! I plan on continuing after my Groupon runs up!

Several people left after intermision, which at a normal studio would have actually been the time a recital would end. Not to mention the unorganization of it. She also overbooked seating for that auditorium. So Bridget threw some folding chairs in the aisle, in front of a safety bar,so not only were we in awful folding chairs but also could not see without looking under or over the bar. We paid $120 for folding chair seats in the isle with an obstructed view. Had to put your head under or stand up to see kids on stage. Overall I have to say I was very dissapointed with Bridget's on several levels. I would NEVER recommend anyone go to that dance studio. I will be trying Amy's Dance in Braintree.

More than one person said they felt like they were watching something from Dancing With The Stars! Bridget is amazing! My fiancé had no previous dance experience and by the end of the private lessons and a few good practice sessions on our own, he was rocking the tango, box step, and had virtually perfect form! Bridget gives great feedback, the lessons are affordable and she is a blast to work with. We would highly recommend. We might even try to keep up with some group lessons! Without the pressure from a big audience with all eyes on you, the ballroom dancing is a riot.
