With much fear and trepidation, I visited Fred Astaire Delray Beach for an introductory lesson. They instantly made me feel welcomed and part of the family. In just a few short months, I've learned a number of dances, have attended numerous events, created new relationships and have been having tons of fun. The studio owners are very hard working, diligent, talented instructors and have helped me generate tremendous value to my life. I absolutely love Fred Astaire Delray dance studio and so will you!!!

Maria put together an amazing choreography with gorgeous turns and a stunning lift. We felt so comfortable with her and honestly felt like we were family at the end of our lessons. I recommend Maria without reservation. She truly is a talented instructor and a kind soul that cares about your results and wanting to make your wedding special. Everyone at the wedding was screaming in surprise and joy at our choreography and said we even looked professional! Thank you Maria and the Fred Astaire team for giving us beautiful memories.

Don't send your kids here. I am a parent and I've held my tongue for a while because my child…read moreenjoyed their lessons, but I have about had it. If you want your child to have a proper music education, send them anywhere else. You would probably be better watching YouTube tutorials. I think the issues stem from the top down. They are nickel and diming everyone, and the quality of work isn't worth the price. I can't tell you how many teachers my kid has had, and no they don't tell you. My child has gotten attached to three teachers only for them to never return. Front desk staff also turns over far too often. I've heard anecdotally from other parents that they do not treat their staff properly. I think the turnover rate speaks for itself. And the replacement teachers are young, clueless, and don't know their right hand from their left. Issues of racism and ableism are also an open secret. But I can't put up with this any longer. I have heard of multiple instances from parents about mistreatment or black and autistic children (and their families). I know the front desk refused to look a black mother in the eye. Anyway, I pulled my child out several weeks ago. I reccomend any parent looking for lessons to go anywhere else.

The studio is very nicely decorated and well maintained with spacious rooms and state-of-the-art equipment. The instructors are ALL amazing in their own right. Although I did not believe I could learn the different ballroom dances I made great progress in just a few lessons, and feel great. since I started this program. Their programs offer a combination of private lessons, group lessons and practice parties so you have the chance to dance with instructors and students with different styles and learn from all of them. The owners and instructors are incredibly skilled but more importantly their kindness, passion for dance and teaching creates a very welcoming and familiar atmosphere at the studio. You won't feel intimidated regardless of your age or skill level. I am always looking forward to my next class at Danceflow

I had taken some classes many years ago and like many of you looking at these reviews before…read moredeciding on dance classes, I was anxious about the prospect of dancing in front of other people. My memory for doing the steps on my own is not so great, however, my trepidations were erased as soon as I took my first class. This is an award-winning husband and wife team. As soon as I set foot in the door Danny and his lovely wife Catia immediately made me feel welcome. My instructor is Danny and he had me dancing right away. He is great on helping me with my form and helps by repeating the moves until I get it. He is encouraging, kind, helpful and respectful which goes a long way towards easing my nerves. The ballroom is very beautiful, elegant and large. Even after the first few weeks of lessons I had a grasp on the major dances and feel confident enough to go out dancing. I'm still taking lessons and getting better all the time. I highly recommend Grand Ballroom and Dance Sport USA.

The classes are tough for my skill set but at the same time they don't judge you if your a beginner or never have taken barre, yoga or cardio classes. I was expecting some sort of dance class but it is unique because they add elements of cardio and yoga in it. So far I have had the pleasure of taking Fabiana's class over the weekend. She was encouraging as well as helpful during my moments of cluelessness. I enjoyed the work out so much that I decided to try this studio for a month to see what kind of results I get. Also I took Jackie's class as well. She was so nice and made sure I was not lost. At times I want to laugh while in class because I look so ridiculous doing the poses however it's a fun learning experience. This type of studio took me out of my comfort zone and I'm really liking it. Every instructor is very caring and do not make you feel like a outsider. I would recommend anyone to try a barre class.
