We are a hardworking team & yes we do have fundraising just like any other sport out there. Nobody is forced into purchasing anything or even participating in the fundraiser, it is all optional. I personally believe in my own opinion the dance teachers are dressed professional for the profession they are in (Comfortable clothing, leggings, sneakers, etc) I just hate to see people out there using fake names on Yelp reviews trying to ruin a dance studios reputation. Many of the dancers have been dancing at this studio for 5+ years, it is like a family. My daughters personally have made the greatest friendships at this dance studio and have learned so much from the staff. They win awards and have built up their self confidence. So I do recommend Elite Dance Studio to anyone looking for a dance studio for a child of any age.

She'd love ballet most of all, I am sure, but we can't make the Saturday morning time slot. There is a recital each spring and each age group preps all year for it. The staff members are all incredibly talented and professional and very dedicated to student growth and development. One thing that we've found here is that the teachers offer very individualized attention to each student, meeting them wherever they are in their dance journey and helping them grow and thrive. They work very hard in their classes, but make dance SO much fun that my kids (ages 7-13) can't wait to go, and often are there 5-6 days a week.

We've been with The Dance Connection for over 7 years and our experience has been only positive…read more When I enrolled my daughter in her first class, I thought it would just be a hobby and wasn't entirely sure she would even enjoy it. Now she's considering pursuing dancing as a professional career and that is a true testament to the teachers at this studio. My daughter has grown from occasionally toddler hobbyist dancer into a maturing professional minded competitive dancer. She danced on stage in Walt Disney World with her dance team - a rare and unique opportunity that we wouldn't have had if it were not for The Dance Connection. During this frightening and uncertain time, The Dance Connection has gone above and beyond to make dancers and parents feel safe. When COVID prompted massive business shutdowns, our studio found a way to ensure our dancers wouldn't have to suffer and they worked together to deliver Zoom (virtual) classes every week. I know that this seemingly small gesture is what kept my daughter from breaking down during a time when it felt - and still feels - like the world will never go back to the way we once knew. The world looks different right now and none of us know what the future will bring. The Dance Connection has not missed a beat and has rolled with all of the changes and laws and requirements to follow required protocols and still make every effort to give our dancers some semblance of normalcy during such a chaotic time. We are a family. We are all in this together.

Carolyn Dutra Dance Studio is an amazing, amzing, amazing studio. If you're looking fir a studio in…read moreWarwick- or even in Rhode Island- stop right here. I GUARANTEE that you will not find a studio better than this one. The young ladies (ages ranging from 2-adult) are mannerly and kind. At other studios I have visited for my daughter, I have seen and heard that the young ladies are conceited and completely rude. Also, Miss Carolyn Dutra herself is an amazing person. She offeres the girls every dance type there is. She teaches the girls poise and charm and just simply life lessons. Being a former Rockette, she knows "Show Biz" and proffesionalism like no one else. To put it simply: Carolyn Dutra is definitely one of the best. It is rare that the studio will do a competition, seeing Miss Carolyn has an amazing perspective about competitions that you will want to hear. So, Miss Carolyn Dutra will do a lot of local things, such as dancing in festivals. Also, instead of competitions, there are trips. Cruises, Hershey Park, New York, and even Disney World! And the girls are trained so well and are amazing dancers. I don't mean to brag or anything, but they are very, very, well trained and proffesional, unlike many other studios in the city... I very highly recommend this wonderful studio. I will give it five stars at the drop of a hat. I wish there was an "1000000 stars" button.
