These events are also great for meeting new people and making friends, they have a great "dance family" These group events will also give you the chance to meet other the instructors and see the pros dance together, I love watching them. As you progress through your lessons there are opportunities to participate in the trophy ball, it's a fun way to show off what you've learned and also see the advanced students dance. I have never been to a yoga class in my life. I knew nothing about yoga, and ended up going to the hot yoga class, which was truly a work out, I never expected. I don't work out, I walk. That's about as physical as I get. i'm about to hit 60 in June and felt that I needed to try something to slow the progression of aches and pains and stiffness. So with much trepidation I decided to give this class a shot and I'm so glad I did. The staff and customers are wonderful. No pretense, no airs & graces, just the love of yoga. The space is beautiful and relaxing clean which is a feeling of serenity even though you're going to work every muscle in your body. In fact, muscles you never knew you had. After that first class of hot yoga I was hooked, even though I was exhausted. Nevertheless, I joined for $75 for the month with the full price to be deducted each month. I like the fact that you can cancel whenever you want. I've since booked a couple more classes, different ones, basic ones to learn the whole yoga jargon.. If you're on the fence, definitely give Powerglo a shot. They offer several different sessions, which are all online easy to book easy to cancel!!

So many yoga classes I've been to at some other studios feel more like aerobics or a dance club; at Powerglow, I'm not only gaining strength and flexibility but connecting to my breath and body in a way that feels truly mindful and grounding. I also love the variety of offerings from sound healing to fun themed classes like glow in the dark yoga. So grateful to have this in my neighborhood
