I have some background in dance and aerial arts, but decided it was time to try something new that would throw me further outside my comfort zone. Inversions has done this for me in the best way possible! I am 39 years old, but I'm dancing like I did in high school! I recently completed Lisa's (the owner) 12 week nutrition and exercise challenge, during which I learned how to eat well, gained strength, lost body fat - and most importantly gained confidence in myself. Inversions just recently relocated and the new studio space is perfect - I love dancing in the glow of the multi-colored lights! Every time I walk into the studio, I just automatically relax and my problems vanish for the next hour as I focus on learning the next new dance move or pole trick. The instructors at Inversions are all warm, welcoming, and supportive - so if you have ever thought about trying pole classes, Inversions is the best place to do it. Regardless of your fitness level, age, or body type, the instructors will make sure you progress through your pole journey at whatever pace you are comfortable. Where the other space was LIGHT, Cathedral high ceilings, and GLASS, this one is grounded, warm, and cozy. They both use the same great smartphone app for booking. This is Pilates that is ELEVATED.

The staff at this location is pathetic at best, and there is one who is condescending and patronizing. When asked about their equipment or how to use something, their only answer is look it up by QR code. But there isn't a QR code on all things. As an example, I went to use the massage chair, and asked for assistance. They said, "just turn it on". Since I didn't know how to do that, a staff member went with me to the chair, found the control (it was buried in some folds) and turned it on, then put the control away. I was halfway through the session when I figured out there were arm massagers and the chair only massaged my neck. When I told the front staff about it they responded arrogantly that I should have reset the control to what I wanted. When I indicated I didn't know there was anything other than an on/off box, they said every else figures out how to use the chair on their own and they couldn't help if I couldn't do that. I just called for help on registering for a class, and they said I had to call the other local location, and then gave me the wrong phone number to call!

As soon as I walked in for the first time the studio was so beautiful and the people were so kind and accepting. This is truly a nonjudgemental space and going to classes here has the ability to completely turn my day around. There is a big parking lot right outside so parking is never an issue and there is a bathroom, water bottle filling station, and changing room available inside! Their sticky sock collection is always so cute and they'll host cute events like candle making classes, glow in the dark barre, etc every once in a while.
