Inversions has done this for me in the best way possible! I am 39 years old, but I'm dancing like I did in high school! I recently completed Lisa's (the owner) 12 week nutrition and exercise challenge, during which I learned how to eat well, gained strength, lost body fat - and most importantly gained confidence in myself. Inversions just recently relocated and the new studio space is perfect - I love dancing in the glow of the multi-colored lights! Lots of parking under the expressway bridge, and a pleasant, short, four-block stroll. Don't know how to dance? Simple - the 7:00 beginner lesson is just for you! Even if you've danced a little, those lessons are a great way to brush up. If you consider yourself a pretty good intermediate swing dancer, the intermediate lesson starts at 6:00. Both lessons are taught by great CSDA members. Members pay $5 for the dance and it includes the lesson. Non-members pay just eight bucks. How can you go wrong!? The dances feature great catchy music. Members ask non-members to dance, and vice-versa. The more seasoned dancers will ask the beginners to dance and help them along. Be sure to come every week, as the DJ's and instructors are usually different from week-to-week.

I have always found the staff to be very helpful. Tammy & Denise are very helpful & knowledgeable. Some of the reviews mention the staff being tough & the place smelling. Both are accurate. The staff are rounding up a lot of kids that are often wound up & loud. And what I have witnessed is the staff trying to get their attention, keep them safe, & teach them gymnastics. Kids can go here to learn and have fun but it's not a gym to run wild. It does smell like a gymnasium where athletes workout & sweat. It's a wide open warehouse type building with a lot if mats & kids. I'm not sure what could be done to make it smell fresher. As with any children's/young person activity, you have to find the right fit for your child. My suggestion is to give them a try to see if they are the right fit for your family.

GAC consistently coaches multiple athletes from barely walking toddler age to helping their athletes achieve collegiate success and scholarships. Our daughter has been with GAC and coaches for 18 months now and we would have never imagined the energy, time, consistency and the winning mentality that is present day in and day out here. We are so grateful how much they've poured into her and how it's paid off. While we do believe our daughter brings a lot of passion, and drive etc ...there is no doubt that her skills and confidence has been amplified because she is surrounded by such a committed owner, who empowers all her coaches which then trickles down to the athletes.
