After moving to CHS I tried a handful of different things and just never found the right fit for me. After baby #2 I wanted to try again... AOCF was running a challenge, 6 weeks of clean eating and at least 16 classes, setting goals, etc. I decided to go for it, a challenge is right up my alley and I knew the accountability would be good. Here's the thing, the places that left me feeling like it wasn't quite what I was looking for sometimes felt thrown together with classes (like 15 minutes of a body weight workout... if I'm coming for an hour class, I want to use that full hour and get the most out of my time). Also, I want good coaching... Kelly and Megan are awesome with this. And I found myself missing the community that I had built over time with CFA, AOCF has a really fun group of people and they are intentional about building community. So, I ended up being able to do a little over 5 weeks of the challenge (before going out of town for a bit). I dropped 17lbs and not only did my time get a lot better with the workout, but I can feel the changes, I feel better. I'm looking forward to continuing with AOCF and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone else!

As soon as I walked in for the first time the studio was so beautiful and the people were so kind and accepting. This is truly a nonjudgemental space and going to classes here has the ability to completely turn my day around. There is a big parking lot right outside so parking is never an issue and there is a bathroom, water bottle filling station, and changing room available inside! Their sticky sock collection is always so cute and they'll host cute events like candle making classes, glow in the dark barre, etc every once in a while. The instructors really care about class attendees and are always open to feedback and suggestions. I couldn't rave more about this place! I would encourage anyone of any level to come try any class. The vibes are inclusive, kind, and welcoming.

And then came a sciatic pain, which really woke me up for a 'tune up' on my body. Upon my chiro's referral, I signed up for some training by a pro who understands the mechanics of the body. Now, I am not a gym person or even a person who likes to be physical. And then there is the introverted personality I have that prevents me from wanting to be around people. I got to say, a month in with training, I feel comfortable with going here. AND in small steps, my body is starting to realize her new potential. I know I am not the easiest to motivate or work with at times, but it seems Mike likes the challenge. Both him and Brett are passionate about their work and it shows. In today's world, finding people like this is like finding a needle in the hay. I am beyond grateful for these men and their knowledge, humor and grace.
