My perspective is only for very young children just learning about dance, I would say you can find better options. Seems perhaps more tailored for higher end students looking to excel in actually becoming dancers, and that is great. But smaller children seemed to get short shrift at every turn. A 2 hour recital where they got to dance for 90 seconds, while the teacher herself danced numerous numbers would be one example. Anyway just one non-experts opinion.

Having grown up dancing both recreationally and competitively, and working at my own dance studio as both an apprentice and again as an adult, I've seen firsthand everything that goes into putting on a production like this. From backstage organization and music cues to dressing rooms, costumes, concessions and all the behind the scenes details, there's a lot that has to come together. From what I could see, this was a very well run production. The performances were thoughtfully choreographed with a wonderful mix of fun, lighthearted numbers and more serious pieces. The dancers looked confident, the transitions were smooth and the entire show appeared to go off without a hitch. Most importantly, thank you for giving my nephew such a wonderful first year of dance through hip hop and a fabulous first recital. It was a joy to watch him and all of the dancers shine. Congratulations to everyone involved on a fantastic show!
