ROSE NEEDS AN ATTITUDE ADJUST, WRITING ON MY STEP DAUGHTERS…read moreHANDS WITH AND L&R is not exceptable. Yes she has intellectual disability but she tries real hard at everything she does. Ignoring her and texting on your phone is not exceptable as well. Also first lesson stop daughter not comfortable with exclamation and Rose told her if she ruins her transmission we are paying for it. Ummmm NO!!!!! Thats your problem when your teaching people how to drive, you can't expect them to know right off the bat how to drive. That is what you are hired for. No where in your add does it say anyone is responsible for transmission or any other thing that goes wrong mechanically with your vehicle.there is no contract signed to make any liable. Paying ROSE for lessons is one thing, but paying her $170 to refresh her and take her for test and not pay attention to her is wrong, and to tell her to tell the dmv she is dyslexic when she is not. I guess Rose picks and chooses who she will be kind to. I will never recommend this driving school to anyone. Rose is not professional and I would not want anyone to have to deal with someone so ruin and inconsiderate to humans.

I began driving hours with Newport driving school this September. My first appointment was…read morescheduled for 10am and at 10:05 no one had arrived at my dorm so I called them. My instructor yelled at me over the phone saying that he called me multiple times and that my phone was off (he later realized he wrote down the wrong number, but did not apologize for the miscommunication on his part). He then said he would be about 15 minutes late but he ended up being 40 minutes late. He also had me meet him on my school campus instead of where I live, so I had to walk in the rain to meet him. I was petrified the whole time, and despite warning him of my fears before beginning he just told me to go and did not acknowledge them. He continuously called me sweetheart and patted my arm in a way that I perceived as condescending. He was on his phone the entire lesson calling and texting other clients. At some points he wouldn't tell me which way to turn and when I'd ask him he would yell at me for not putting on my blinker sooner. He told me I was scaring people and he slammed the break on his side multiple times. I did not get back to campus until 12:30 when my appointment was only supposed to be from 10-11am. I went to a second lesson and I asked if this time he could pick me up at my dorm. When he got here he yelled at me for it being in a private neighborhood and said he would never pick me up here again. Private neighborhoods need to learn how to drive too! Despite this the second lesson was somewhat better. At a few different points he reached over me to honk at other drivers, and when I tried to stop at a yellow light he made me run through it saying "you should have stopped but we're running late today". He is a much more aggressive driver then I would be which makes me nervous and uncomfortable at times, but it was definitely a nicer experience then the first. I have not been back since these experiences, although I know I should because I paid for 6 lessons. I am a very anxious person and I put off getting my license until now (I am a 19 year old female) because I was nervous to start. Driving with Newport County Driving School only grew this problem and I get anxiety attacks even thinking about scheduling another appointment. When I go driving at home with my mom I am not nearly as nervous as when I'm with my driving instructor. I tried to find the name of my instructor, and I thought it was John, but the picture of John Leeds on the website is not who I am driving with so it must be one of the other instructors, but I do not recommend them for any beginners. To drive at Newport Driving School you must already be confident in your skills and not nervous to drive at all. UPDATE: I am updating my review because of Luke's wonderful customer service. He helped me sort everything out, and I am confident my new experience will be better with Newport County Driving School. I cannot thank Luke enough for being so understanding and kind.

Horrible experience. I have no idea how this place is still in business. An understatement to say…read morethe owner is rude. He berated my daughter while she was doing her second driving lesson with him. She hit a metal plate on East Main Road (which is easy enough to do with all the construction) and he laid into her. We immediately pulled her out of the six lesson course we had paid and signed up for. When my daughter's father called to confront the issue, he denied the whole thing. The owner did refund us our money for the lessons we did not take. Had I done my homework in reading reviews before signing h her up here, I would have seen that many other people have had similar experience with this individual. Definitely had anger management issues. Go to AAA driving school. We finished up there with rage-free, calm instruction.

I've been coming here for quite some time, usually for blowouts or a hair treatment with a blowout,…read moreand for the price, you really can't go wrong! Obviously, this is a cosmetology school, so you have to keep in mind that every experience may not be perfect. That being said, the instructors do check the students' work, and if there's something you're not happy with or want adjusted, you just need to speak up. They are very willing to correct things and make sure you're satisfied. I've never had a bad experience with scheduling. They are extremely accommodating, and I've even called the day before and been able to get an appointment. The prices for blowouts and treatments are so affordable, especially compared to a traditional salon. The biggest downside is that services can take longer than they would at a regular salon, so you definitely need to be willing to spend a little extra time there. For me, though, it's worth it. My hair is very blonde, so I need treatments pretty frequently, and coming here makes it much more affordable and convenient. They also offer coloring services, which I personally haven't tried yet. I'll admit I'd probably be a little more skeptical about having my color done at a school, but people definitely do it, and it's a great option if you're looking for a more budget-friendly way to get your hair colored. I also recently noticed that they've added facials and nail care to their services, which I'm really excited about! I haven't tried either one yet, but I definitely plan to. Overall, if you're looking for affordable beauty services and don't mind spending a little extra time, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. You can get a lot done here without spending salon prices!

I mean for a basic pedi.... And that's the only pedi available ......$20.00 was a great deal…read more..... the nail tech did a good job.... It did take 2 hrs.... But if you're patient and give the student an opportunity you are good.....the seating it's a bit awkward it's long seat and ur right next to other clients.... The seating is uncomfortable don't expect a salon massage chair.......the nail tech was very nice and patient. But will definitely do it again.....
