In fact,…read moreI absolutely loathed the idea of going to the dentist, and have put off having a lot of work done because of that fear. Given that I was having some of the worst pain I have had in my life, I caved, and called Glendale Dental Associates at 2:10 pm, explained my situation and they told me they could see me at 3pm...as a new patient. (AWESOME). I got there and all of the front desk/admin staff were really nice and friendly, then got in back and the hygienist was really awesome and nice, and she was totally in tune with keeping my pain free...bringing me cold water (the only thing that made my tooth feel better, etc). Then Dr. Cho came to take a look at me, and he was a super nice and down to earth guy, he didn't lecture me on my history of not visiting the dentist very often, lack of flossing, etc. His main goal was getting me out of the writhing pain that I was in. He laid out the plan of attack with two options, explained both, and was actually able to extract my tooth with the plan of replacing it with an implant shortly after. The procedure was painless, and Dr. Cho did a great job...and again...the whole staff was super nice the whole time. I had a preconceived notion, that when I finally did have to go to the dentist, that they would lecture me about the state of my mouth, that it would be super painful, and it would be cold and impersonal....(I had experienced this in the past)....but this experience couldn't have been more opposite.

The last episode was when my left sinus grew into the place where my tooth belonged. It was a complicated procedure for her to remedy, but remedy it she did. I literally had no pain during the surgery and little to none for the rest of the day. What impressed me this time was her assurance that she monitors all the details of my visits--even cleaning. She gave me a chorus of words that communicated that to me. I am so thankful for her expertise. If I'd had this problem with another dentist, the tooth would be gone by now. Thank you, Dr. Mundy.

He does not judge, or place blame for any issues / complications - nor does their staff. Everyone there is very kind, and although sometimes it can be a little tough to get in touch with them due to a high volume of calls, they are helpful and responsive. I have never had to call multiple times, they have always reached back out to me first! Dr. Bailey performed a root canal on me last year, and it went perfectly! He prescribed an antibiotic prior to the procedure, and was extremely kind and empathetic during the entire process. I had NO problems following the procedure and have not had an issue with the tooth since. I used to hate going to the dentist due to past bad experiences, but Dr. Bailey and his office of amazing staff have made up for those experiences tenfold!

They can even do a root canal, complete with your permanent crown, in one visit! (About 1.5-2 hours), because they have a 3D printer. But don't think the machine does everything- Heather is the best dental tech, and together with Dr. Bailey, they will ensure you have a natural looking smile with a perfect color-match and fit. They talk you through every step, and do everything possible to make sure you experience as little discomfort as possible. The dental hygienists are experienced, and Carla is skilled and gentle. The office is clean and bright. As you recline in the comfortable chairs, you can look out the large window or watch tv. Not sure if I should leave a review or not, but why not…read more. I was seen as a new patient. (a little background, as a child I had orthodontic care so that was not the reason for this visit.) I just needed the cement on my permanent retainer repaired. The office staff was very friendly. The tech that brought me back to take my history and pics was also very friendly and made small talk with me. Dr. Larson simply plucked the half piece of cement/glue that was left off. He was very upfront and said at my age my teeth have already done all their shifting so redoing my retainer wouldn't really be a need. He of course did suggest an invisible retainer for my top and bottom teeth to correct the little bit of shift that had happened since having my braces off as a kid since I didn't wear my retainer as I should have. He said thats his job & he likes perfect teeth so of course he would suggest it. Every visit has been a positive experience including the front office staff, scheduling, and a very reasonable payment plan when I got Invisalign over 4 years ago. The hygienists use the topical numbing potion along the gumline/roots before every cleaning so it's completely comfortable. Everyone here is very personable, the office is clean and attractive, and parking is convenient. When I changed dental insurance I checked first to make sure these dentists were preferred providers.

So let's all just be real with ourselves, no one likes the dentist. I have found a few over the…read moreyears that I've liked aspects of my visit but not the whole visit. HOWEVER, I will say that this is the first time from start to finish. I changed dentist due to my work and location so this past winter I was looking for a new dentist. I asked a co worker of mine and she recommended this dentist. I did my own research and decided to give it a whirl. The front office staff was great. And my hygienist was knowledgable, talked me through everything and even made a note in my chart about preferences much appreciated. Additionally, they do provide fluoride for their adult patients. This is crucial and I've been getting this ever since I've gone to the dentist. Meeting the dentist was great, she was personable and shared her advice with me about my concerns. She did not force me into any decisions and said it was my choice but she would air on the side of conservative treatment. Overall, it was a great experience and honestly I am not dreading my next appointment.

I have an illnesses which causes me to vomit frequently, sometimes with no warning. I had an episode while in the Martin Dentistry office some time ago. It's not as though they didn't know or hadn't seen it. However, after being late to an appointment which was rescheduled I was ridiculed. Call me silly but I didn't want to uncontrollably vomit all over the dentist or hygienist. Frankly, it's a health risk. I could've easily choked on my vomit during treatment. You can be the best dentist but with an unprofessional, patient facing staff you will eventually lose business. Side note, somehow the office suppressed my Google review. Now I consider them unreliable.
