I'm in my 60s, and have been around the block quite a bit with fitness trainers, coaches, etc. Grady is hands-down the best I've experienced. He demonstrates his mastery of the science and practice of training and integrates that into his workouts, etc. With Grady, I began expanding not only my strength and endurance, but also my flexibility and mobility. He will work with you on whatever your goals may be, including weight loss, diet, etc. Over the years, I have noticed that many coach/trainers shave off 5-10 minutes a session by leaving you on a treadmill or the like or simply ending before your time is up. Grady always gives me the full time I pay for. He also follows up on your goals and progress on a regular basis. He speaks from a standpoint of knowledge and expertise but is able to communicate without being snooty or judgmental. And he's just a friendly and personable guy who is easy to work with, but also a challenge. If you've been considering a personal trainer or coach, I highly recommend that you give his services a try!

They tailor their workouts for the individuals either in a class or solo. The personal training is really great. It teaches you how to properly stretch and the proper way to lift weights. The classes are throughout the day and target different age groups and interests. They are designed for any level of difficulty. They give the group the assigned exercise. Then the instructor demonstrates the beginner level to the group. This is really great for those who want to ease into the sessions. The Boomer Bootcamp has done wonders for my mother and her friends. She has demonstrated increased strength, endurance and has lost weight over the last five months. She truly is eager to attend her classes and is more energized through out the day. The tidal wave class is very fun and at a faster pace than the boomer boot camp. It is based on rowing and intermixing other exercises. This class is very popular. Get here early! Massage: Wow! I can only say simply "the best massage I have ever received!" And I have experienced many massages and none of them have come close to this experience. She spent every minute diligently working and it was so relaxing. Following the end of the massage she advised me on stretches and other things to help prevent future pain where most of the knots were found. She was quiet and efficient. Truly excellent.

    When I moved to Reno, I told myself that I would take the time to take care of me and put myself…read morefirst and that included getting into a workout routine. When I found Kate in August 2014, I figured that's what I would get but she is SO much more than a personal trainer. She takes the time to assess where you're at, provides literature on current fitness and weight management issues you may be having, and takes the time to follow your nutrition and daily food log. All her workouts are fun, different, and she's so personable and fun that you kind of forget that you're in an intense workout. I have a torn ACL in my right knee and a recovering fractured left ankle so I used to have so much pain when working out. It really turned me off to exercise because no trainer I worked with before really realized how painful it was. Kate is so incredibly knowledgable about the body and is aware of the dangers of putting too much strain on injuries. She has been focusing on my foundational balance abilities and strengthening the muscles around my knee and ankle so that I can increase my training. It has definitely worked and I can feel how much stronger I am all around. She takes the time to work through everything, not just rush through a workout like so many other trainers I've had. I have lost inches everywhere and am so happy with Kate's skills and talents in helping me get into shape. I can honestly say that I am in the best shape of my life (even more so than when I was an athlete as a teenager). She's affordable, and really works around schedules to accommodate all the other responsibilities we all have in the week. I can't stress enough how much Kate has changed my view on working out, nutrition, and what it means to be fit. You won't be sorry.
