You can be on Queens Blvd then turn into this huge circular parking lot. When you enter the building there's a door man and you have to sign your name. The doorman was very respectful and kind. He wasn't just some lame doorman who sat behind a desk. The office is up 4 steps leading to their office. The inside is very clean with awesome pistachio green seats. They constantly have NY1 playing on their two flat screen TVs. The heat in the office was blasting it was a little hot in here. They do have a water fountain which helped. The receptionists were extremely nice and welcoming. The second I walked in they greeted me like I've been coming here for years. I should note it wasn't even for my appointment. They were nice even tho the person that was with me didn't have their insurance card. They allowed him send his information via e-mail right on the spot. Like every doctors appointment you fill out basic information and once your done the doctor sees you within five minutes. I should note this was a Saturday appointment too! Its rare to have such great service on a Saturday. I definitely recommend this place if you need to see a doctor on the weekend. It doesn't get any better than this.

Updated to 4 stars. Mouth dry, headache, body temp drop. They must understand we're here because…read moreof digestive issues. They must desist insisting on giving appointments only to have us wait additional hours for a procedure that in itself takes additional hours to perform? The pop music coming through their speakers exacerbates the headache. Wish they'd play The Piano Guys, or Instrumental Jazz or anything other than the background static noise. It does nothing to ease the physical and mental unease from the toll this procedure produces. This is by no means a reflection on Dr. Shalomov. Again, his bedside manner is exceptional. Sweet Marisol, a young woman (they all seem so young), took my blood pressure. The anaesthesiologist was rougher than the previous one during the colonoscopy. If you can, request for Dr. David Chang. He's gentle, kind, and has a clue. Side note: please provide gluten free options of crackers, pretzels, or cookies. The nurse was giving me crackers stating "you'll be alright. It just has wheat and soy". Wheat....is gluten. Not up for hives, and allergic reaction after a procedure. Hope this review helps improve what others have voiced as needing improvement. Again, no reflection on Dr. He is excellent. ------- Review submited August 2022 ------- Colonoscopy procedure was performed earlier this month. And though initially the music played in the waiting room did nothing to soothe the anxiety deriving from lack of nourishment, (it was an afternoon appt) and the increasing concern for what may be found, the procedure itself is what leads to my the 5-star rating. The anesthesiologist, Dr. David Chang , used strategies to calm the anxiety. Through an offer to pray for me based on my personal faith, Adrian provided comfort. And through a warm smile, and the assurance everything will be alright, Dr. Shalomov's bedside manner was wholeheartedly appreciated. Although I am not looking forward to the upcoming endoscopy, we know these are necessary to prevent the "If you'd come sooner..." sobering prompt. My only suggestion is to play instrumental, or upbeat music to help those waiting for long hours in the waiting room alongside those who greet us at the door.

First of all they've got the hazard boxes right by the entrance and one was open. Second the area was dirty. I went to find parking so my mom went in first to check in. Came in and sat next to her in the lobby, and she asked me to go make the co-payment. WHY DO THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH?? What sort of shadiness is this est engaged in? I went to the desk, hi, who do I make a payment to? The female on the left just stares at me blankly chewing. I look at the one on the right who finally is like, do you have an appointment? I didn't say anything but I'm like, we are literally seated ten feet in front of your face, did you not see I'm talking to my mom? Anyway so I'm like I'm making a payment on her behalf. She silently takes the money and writes a receipt. Meanwhile the one on the left just keeps staring at me while eating with cream cheese on her chin. Then my mom (she came for a colonoscopy) asks whether there is a bathroom inside the procedure area or she has to use the public one in the lobby. Again a blank stare from the woman on the left. The one on the right then says yes you have to use this one. You're telling me, in a BUSY location, they have ONE bathroom that EVERYONE has to use including patients that obviously if you know anything about colonoscopies, will have to use the bathroom. Added to that there is literally NO sound proofing so whatever you do in there people will hear (heard explosions from like three patients while waiting). Btw finally heard the female on the left speak, it was to YELL at an older man who was hard of hearing and possibly with ESL, WHAT IS YOUR NAMMME!!! Look we all have bad days, but the stank attitude is unnecessary, especially in healthcare. People are worried abt their health and now have to deal with this? Then they say no phones, but the TV isn't on either. Am I supposed to sit here and meditate? Meanwhile Spanish music is playing loudly. Now I'm Latina and love my music, but please, 8am in the morning while trying to comfort my mom? Last thing I'm in the mood for is ppl singing along to bachata complimented by the occasional fart sounds coming from the bathroom, save the Elvis Martinez and Karol G for your headphones.

This procedure was presented as a solution that would help me lose weight and improve my health, but it turned out to be a complete scam. Not only did it fail to deliver any of the promised results, but after I complained, the "solution" offered was for me to start taking injections and pills--even though I already have a medical condition that makes this unsafe. Instead of standing behind the procedure or addressing the failure, I was pushed toward more treatments and expenses that I cannot and should not take. After going through the expense, the stress, and the recovery process, I saw absolutely no benefit. The results simply did not match what was advertised or explained beforehand. Patients put their trust in a doctor's word and expertise, but in this case, I feel that trust was broken. I strongly urge anyone considering this procedure with Dr. Batash to do thorough research and think twice before moving forward. I WANT MY MONEY BACK--------

Disappointing, Painful, and Misleading Bariatric Balloon Experience - Requesting Refund…read more I underwent a Bariatric Balloon procedure on 08/13/2025, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. From the moment I woke up, I felt horrible--severe stomach pain, nausea, shaking, and chills. Initially, I thought it was from the anesthesia, but once I got home, things only worsened. I began vomiting uncontrollably, and immediately asked my wife to call the doctor. We returned to Dr. Batash's office the same day requesting removal, but were told the anesthesiologist had already gone home. Instead, I was kept for several additional hours, given fluids and pain medication, and strongly encouraged to keep the balloon in. I was told my body simply needed time to adjust. Reluctantly, I agreed--but that was the worst decision I could have made. The balloon did not agree with my body, but I was repeatedly told this was normal. For the entire time it was in place, I was miserable--I could barely eat, could only tolerate fluids, suffered from severe acid reflux, constant bloating, and could not comfortably lie on my back or right side. Eventually, I requested removal, but was given the runaround until I insisted on showing up in person. Only then did I learn that Dr. Batash was not even in Florida, but at his New York office. After multiple delays, the balloon was finally removed on 09/01/2025. Once removed, Dr. Batash told me I had a lot of food stuck at the top of my stomach, even though I had been on a 3-day clear liquid diet prior to removal. This explains why I had been vomiting uncontrollably--the small amount of solid food I consumed simply could not pass through. What frustrates me most is the lack of transparency. During the consultation, it was never disclosed that the program expects patients to take phentermine and/or Ozempic in addition to the balloon. Coming to Dr. Batash, I wanted a more permanent solution, not to be dependent on additional medications and their side effects. If I had known this, I never would have gone through with the procedure. In my opinion, the balloon is meant for portion control, while phentermine suppresses appetite--but comes with side effects and significant weight regain once you stop. Having used phentermine before, I refused it. After removal, I was then encouraged to start Ozempic, which I also declined. In addition to the physical suffering, I feel I wasted thousands of dollars and weeks of my time, and overall, I feel like I was misled, misinformed, and even scammed. Because of this, I am requesting a full refund. For anyone considering this procedure: ask very clearly about all medications, side effects, and the full treatment plan before you commit. Don't assume the balloon is the only part of the program. Make sure you understand exactly what you're signing up for, so you don't end up in the same situation I did--losing time, money, and peace of mind, while experiencing unnecessary pain.

Which made me feel uncomfortable. I had my first colonoscopy scheduled and was already anxious about the procedure and even though I was planning to do the procedure with Dr Schnall. I decided the day before not to do it . I left a message at the center as it was the weekend and call the morning as soon as I could to let them know , also that last conversation with Dr Schnall did stick out in my mind when I made my decision. The doctor patient relationship should be based on more than the financial benefit to the doctor. Later that day His front desk staff called me to tell me I will be charge 50 dollars for the last minute cancellation I had no problem with them charging -$50 which is understandable I did not dispute the fee. I told her my reasons for canceling in a calm way, But she started talking to me very rudely about it and proceeded to reprimand me on the inconvenience I caused to Dr Schnall and his team . it's my body and I have a right to change my mind , and to feel comfortable with my doctor and confident in my doctor /patient relationship, especially with a procedure like this. Patients have rights, and she does not seem to respect patients. She ended the phone call yelling at me which reaffirmed to me I made the right decision, people like this who have no empathy towards patients are in the wrong business.
