    Recommending and trying to sell my wife a $600 car battery. When she questioned it they told her it had more amps etc. Also want to charge her 180 for a computer update on a 3 year old car. Completed dishonest and unethical people trying to scam people....despicable. I also changed the rear brakes myself. Buying the premium rotors and pads was $125 and took myself under two hours

    I just had my first oil change and tire rotation on my 2019 Subaru Legacy. Making the service appointment was seamless. I no sooner hung up the phone and received an email confirming the date and time of my appointment. The service staff were friendly and informative. Shana took in my car upon arrival and said it would take about 1.5 hours for the services. At exactly 1.5 hours I received a call that my car was ready to go. It was great that they also wash the exterior following a service appointment.

    Omg where do I begin.. I've been warned about coming here and to stay away from the shady employees here. Let's begin... I walked in to get an appraisal for a Subaru that we wanted to sell. I located the front reception desk and asked for Shawn. I was directed to a desk in the corner near the offices. I got there and no one was present. So I waited. .. 4 min later someone asked if I was being helped which I said no and I'm waiting for someone by the name of Shawn. I was told he was over there.. and the gentleman was pointing to an employee only area. Cool. So I waited someone else approached me and decided to page Shawn. So I waited. .. Then after another 5-10 mins I was joined by Shawn's two colleagues who were waiting with me. One of the kind people in the offices near his platformed desk paged him and said there is a customer waiting for assistance. While waiting for him to appear a sales person was very loudly expressing his frustration about working with a client. Strange .. did he not notice customers in the building. Anyways Shawn finally appeared from this hallway. And little did he know that I was watching him for another 2 mins while he busy on his phone. The steam that was coming out of my head at this point. Holy cow! So he approaches me and never once did he ask for my name. He appraises the vehicle and says in the 6 range. So he's staring and me and I'm staring at him and finally I ask well what's the offer? How are you going to say 6 range. Like are you offering 6, $6500 $6243.24 like come correct!! And you want me to believe you're the Sales Manager.. either someone there lied to me or Mr Dan Perkins himself lied to Shawn. Geez .. what an annoying visit. Never again will I go back to this place. I should have listened. I live locally but after my experience I will only deal with Garavel in Norwalk.

With both Ford Milford and Stamford they on that First call actually said : labor is $xxx.xx an hour . I didn't even ask ! Branca's owner and the rest of their front desk team and service team were awesome. Efficient. Professional. Not intimidating at all. A sure example of excellent customer service. Highly recommended. I live at least 36 miles from Branca's but because I found them in yelp with consistently great reviews and that First phone call was sincerely open and inviting and far from intimating, I went to them. Kudos!

    Was in CT for a 5-day visit. I contacted ACE during my trip on a Saturday morning, where business…read morehours were until 1pm. We were referred by friends who said ACE would take good care and resolve the issues with the truck. ACE owner (?) responded to say he was away on Saturday but could look at my truck Monday. We drove out to the shop that weekend to be sure we knew where it was. A small shop but plenty bays and a few cars on the lot. Looks like they may be a reseller for motorcycles or sell used cars/motorcycles also? The problem reported was that my truck would stutter between 40-50mph, then 60-70mph only on an incline. As much as this was a pain in the neck issue with driving al the backroads at those lower speeds, I felt that waiting a couple more days was ok. On Monday AM, I called ACE and asked what time to come in to have the truck looked at. Making a long story short, the owner said he could not take time to look at my truck as he was already busy. I asked then why he said he could help. He just repeated to say he could not take time to help. All he needed to do was take a road test of the truck and see if it was a simple issue, that's all we asked him to do. He continued to say no and if we were his regular customer, he would help. It's unfortunate that ACE could not at least assess what could be. Or, if he could not assist and knew it Saturday, then just say that Saturday. I wasted time waiting and could have gone elsewhere. If ACE had looked at the truck, he would have found out that the number 6 coil needed replacing. Could have made some money and kept a positive review with the business.

Since this was the first time he had seen my car, he checked out the rest of the engine and made some recommendations for me. Since I was due for an oil change, he did that too. As a woman, I hate going to the repair shop because I always feel I am getting taken advantage of...not with ACE.. I never felt like he was talking down to me or trying to sell me something i didnt need. I'll be returning here for all my repairs going forward... you should too!
