I'm never looking for the contractor that comes in with the lowest price, but rather the one whose presentation makes the most sense to me. When we had a small leak into our master bath ceiling, coming from a roof that's 20 years old, I talked to 4 different roofing contractors. Dannucci Roofing was one of them. When the owner, Joe Dannucci came by, he clearly communicated that he understood the problem, and presented a 2-step approach to me, short term and long term, that made the most sense. As busy as his company is, Joe got his 2-man "repair" crew to our home to fix the immediate leaking problem--and just in time as we were hit with torrential rain about a week later. Longterm, the plan is to have him re-shingle the rest of the roof in the Spring. I'm happy to say that we are leak-free now and, by Spring, will never have to worry about the roof leaking again for the duration of the time we own the house.

His communication skills are excellent and the quality of his work is excellent as well. He goes above and beyond what's expected and needed. Even though my brother is developmentally disabled, he's able to live independently with help from me. This is quite a task since I live 2600 miles away from him. My brother recently had a flood in his kitchen from a broken dishwasher that leaked into the condo downstairs from him. I called John Uken (JP Contracting) to fix the damaged cabinet and flooring beneath the sink, work with the granite vendor to replace the kitchen countertops, install new sink, and replace and install new dishwasher. John emailed and texted me the job invoice and was in constant communication with me and my brother. John treated my brother with respect and dignity and was able to schedule the repairs in a timely basis. He texted me photos of the work he did as well as the completed job. Both myself and my brother love the work that was done. I highly recommend John Ukdn-JP Contracting; he's excellent.

Every aspect of the project, from Bob's first no-charge, in-person consulting visit to the wonderful comments we continue to hear since completion, went perfectly well. Bob first visited our home, patiently listened to our interests and provided professional advice. He subsequently provided a very detailed, accurate and reasonable quote. We presented Bob with a limited time frame goal - on which he over-delivered. During the construction process, a neighbor commented on how organized and clean our property continued to look each day. Bob's staff was always most professional and courteous. I think this is a testament to the atmosphere and direction Bob orchestrates for his employees. Lastly, I am someone who does not understand much about construction practices. A neighbor of mine - who managed construction projects during his career, noted the terrific craftsmanship and attention to detail that Bob and his team provided after he reviewed our addition after completion. P.S. Bob made an extra trip - a log one to our home - after completion to personally take care of a request. We most highly recommend Bob Shedlock for your upcoming home project.
