Choosing a machine shop is very important when you're doing a full build and Gary put my mind at ease. One thing that really put my mind at ease is that Gary does all of the work. He explains how he is going to do it and what processes he will use to hit the exact tolerance. Everything was spot on. Bearing clearance is one thing, but hitting a ring gap is very tricky. My block was bored, and then finish honed. The specification is .3mm to .4mm. I have included 2 pictures. One where .3 fits and one where .4 doesn't. This was consistent in all 4 cylinders. From the beginning, I was fully informed on what was going to be done and what it would cost, which was very reasonable. One more thing.... I called during the process but didn't leave a message. Gary called me right back and stated he had a call from this number. What business these days takes the time to do that? Top quality work. Done on time. Excellent customer service. Thank you.

This was a small, simple job of nine parts fabricated from 6" by 1" aluminum bar stock. A few holes drilled, some threaded, and a couple of milled slots. I was well pleased when I picked up the parts. They were gorgeous! After testing the fit, Ed arranged for the parts to be anodized, which was turned around in a day. The left frame rail cracked and broke at the rear shackle and the right frame showed it wasn't far behind. Dustin at Dela's welding came to my rescue! Inspected it in a campsite, gave me a an estimate of costs and scheduled me in for repairs. He straightened the left rail, terminated the cracks, plated and welded the plate to the rail.
