Dan came to check on a leak we had at our townhome that was coming through the second bathroom floor. He was able to pinpoint the problem and even stayed longer to explain the details of the problem. He provided us knowledge on why the leak was not from the plumbing but rather from the grouting in the shower. Due to the problem rooting from issues other than the plumbing we didn't have to use his services; but because his customer service was so great we had to bring it up on Yelp!! Dan did a great job with replacing two 15+ year old toilets and a 15+ year old shower head that wasn't even putting out water due to calcium buildup from not being used. He and his helper hauled away the old toilets after which was extremely helpful since I don't own a truck. He arrived on time and didn't charge extra for the fact that he had to drive to a bunch of places trying to find a part that he needed to fix the water pressure in the shower. Very responsive via yelp, which is hard to find with labor workers who either don't respond or take hours/days to respond. He accepts credit card. Very reasonable prices. I work for a licensed general engineering contractor and have over 40 years of hands-on experience in water utility work including pumps, valves, and pipe fitting work. My mother's 60-year-old laundry faucet fixture assembly started leaking and washing machine laundry valve broke. Although I've worked on her plumbing before, I didn't want to spend the time hunting for the specialty replacement components and also risk breaking something else on her old plumbing system. So, I emailed photos of the problem to Dan. He responded promptly with a very reasonable estimate and availability to do the work. Once on site, Dan also pointed out that the main house isolation valve could not close drip-tight. I had him install a new valve as well. He and his helper completed all the work and clean up in about an hour. When I inspected his work and tested everything, I was impressed with the quality and cleanness of his work. Total cost for Dan's work was very reasonable. If I was hired to do this, my price would have been almost double his price. I've done copper solder repair work on my own house plumbing, but I actually plan to contact him again to do some additional work on my own house. read more

Dan is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, experienced, reasonable, personable and the "best" plumber we've had so far! He responded and arrived immediately to a small job to cap-off the refrigerator water line in our rental townhouse and charged very minimally for his time. Next day, we contacted him again to inquire how to turn-on the hot water from the gas water heater outside the rental unit since we accidentally turned it off. He explained verbally over the phone about how to do it (lighting the pilot), but because this was a GAS water heater, we thought it was too dangerous for us to handle this ourselves since we're not knowledgeable and inexperienced with GAS. The tank and copper fittings look and work great, and I'm happy that we went with his recommendation of an AO Smith over the Rheem I initially planned on getting. Don't hire anyone else~ Call Dan he's the man to do the job. I explained the problem & what I wanted done....he came a few days later per my request. Arrived on time as scheduled. Came in fixed the toilet leak, adjusted my garbage disposal and boom he was right out the door 15-20 minutes tops! He even told us if we had any problems after to call and he'd come back with no charge. Keep in mind he also didn't charge us an arm & leg for coming out to the west side ....which most companies do (or they are afraid to lol). Easy online bill pay. He was very professional and in fact I have referred him out to quite a few people already. Much cheaper than anyone else. I recently found out that my Aunt has had a broken shower for years since my uncle passed away. My aunt is struggling financially and is a dialysis patient and very weak..... she's been filling up buckets and struggling as she had to carry the water to the bathroom to take a sponge bath. Left me broken hearted to hear. So, I asked Dan to please run up to her place and see what's up.
