We've contracted with this company for over twenty years for multiple drywall installations in our home. They never disappoint.

I wish I didn't have to write 85 characters about a business that was once great. Now, it has gone downhill.

If I could give zero stars I would. The work is sloppy and unprofessional. These guys made an absolute mess, took three days instead of the one day that they quoted, the guys were never on time and then showed up the third day unannounced. Never cleaned up after themselves. We were glad they showed up to finish the third day but we literally had no communication from Dan that his guys were even coming. The icing on the cake was the fact that our walls are NOT paint ready and his contract clearly says they will leave the walls paint ready. We are now cleaning up after them and need to hire other people to fix to their mistakes. We have had three different painters come to give us quotes and all of them were astonished at how sloppy they were. Stay away from this company. read more

We are so pleased with the service provided! We had major water damage in our kitchen, which ended up with nothing there and lots of drywall removed. Contractors bids were so high, versus what insurance claim gave us, we decided to look elsewhere. A little Leary with the name, but Dan Dan came out, gave us a very reasonable bid, so we contracted him. The team was on time, helpful, great work ethics, outstanding job, great cleanup. Dan's crew did a great job fixing up my walls in my kitchen. I had my kitchen gutted out to make way for new cabinets and the walls were all messed up. So I called Dan who came out the next day to give me a quote. It was very reasonable and so he came out the following day to do the job. The crew did an amazing job in taking off my wall paper and making the walls nice and smooth. We needed a couple of ceilings redone due to a roof leak. They were popcorn ceilings. We ended up doing five rooms - removing the popcorn and going with the orange peel textured coat, just like our walls. They did a fabulous job! read more

I had some walls and ceilings textured. Work was all good quality and I was happy with the results. Now for the reason for 1 star. When Dan came by to quote I asked him what I needed to do to prepare for the work. I moved all the items he instructed into another room. When the contractors came out to start the project I asked if they needed me to move anything else out of their way. They said everything was good and got started. The next day I noticed that my TV had a large scratch from when they were trowelling the ceiling. I have called many times over the last couple weeks and left messages. They do not answer when I call and do not return my calls. While the work was fine I can't recommend Dan because of how he has handled my situation. read more

Called Dan to setup appointment for a small patch job. We were on a deadline & Dan set an appointment. Worker never showed up. I called Dan to find out what happened. While i give him credit for replying (saying he didn't know what happened) he didn't apologize nor did he offer any solutions. I had chosen him over other drywallers that had been available at the time, now no one can come in the time we need. Ending up doing the job myself. I had some drywall repairs done and I was totally disappointed in the quality of work. The drywall not evenly set and the texture was totally horrible, which did not match the existing texture (I am well aware that the texture do not come out exactly the same). Even the other tradesman who were there said the work was really bad and I should get all of my money back. There was no sanding done to even out the plain texture. I called again to complain and Dan came out again to fix but it was useless. I called the third time and this time I never got a call back. Dan is an honest and fair man who my dad ONLY used for drywall. Some one in his crew br0ke a arm on my love seat, broke a leg on one of my antique chairs and carelessly handled my very costly surround sound speakers. I called them on it and the lady said she would have Dan call me. I called them twice and never got a return call. Dan never called me back . The crew member or members know what they did! And said nothing about it. How dishonest can you be! I have much more drywall work to be done at my place, and Dan Dan the drywall man will.not get the work from me! I had Dan scrape my popcorn and re-texture my ceiling. He seemed great when he came. We told him what texture we were thinking of, but he convinced me that a plaster finish would be the right thing to get, he even offered to re-texture a part of the house that was already done so it would match. Everything seemed good while they were finishing. One of the workers showed me how the seams might need to be patched a little. The next day after they finished I noticed that all the seams in the house were a mess and the walls in one room were stained by some type of liquid. I had to have someone else come out to fix all of the seams. Overall the price is right, until you add in the extra cost of having someone come and fix the mistakes. I wouldn't recommend him unless you know exactly what you want, and make him come back after the job is finished so you could inspect the whole area together. read more

I had a lot of work done to my house. Dan Dan the Drywall man removed plaster popcorn in my whole house, retextured several rooms that suffered from wallpaper damage, and patched MANY holes from other work that had been done. His whole staff is helpful and professional. Of all the people who did work in my house, this crew cleaned up the best. The ceilings turned out beautifully and the patches are invisible. Contracted for complete drywall refinish of single room kitchen and family room. Ceiling and wall application of "cloud" finish over mostly "old" drywall good. However, finishing into new skylights and associated bullnose ok for first application, but needed normal second application finishing/touchup.
