Thanks to Deb's preparations and pre-marketing of our home, we had an offer within 48 hours of being officially on the market! She skillfully managed our contract negotiations and every situation that arose during the home inspection, appraisal and closing the deal. One was mobility impairment and the other visual. Fortunately, Todd had prior personal experience with mobility issues involving his own family. He listened well to what our needs were and provided a wide range of information that was not in the usual scope of real estate agents. He never hesitated to seek out additional information on accessibility options, costs of modifying a house, feasibility of location, etc. He could determine right off if a house would not work for us, which was crucial, given that we could not be there in person. He was quick to set up virtual tours, take doorway measurements, and evaluate the remodeling possibilities. He was not simply out to make a sale and wouldn't hesitate to say that he couldn't see a particular house meeting our needs. We found the perfect house and then needed to find Mom a house nearby but nothing was opening up. Todd found a house that had just the right size, price, and location. He confided that the reason it was not selling was because the sellers weren't allowing agents to receive the full customary fee so they weren't showing it. This did not stop Todd, however, and it turned out to be just what we needed. Todd is a good spirit with lots of heart. He may try to sell himself a bit much, but nothing he said was ever untrue. He really is caring and conscientious, dedicated and straightforward. He bent over backwards to helps us at every step. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

February 8, 2026…read more This is a warning to any landlord considering having your property managed by MKB Property Management. Robyn Smeltzer with MKB gave a good presentation and I trusted her, so I listed my home with them last year. I received an e-mail from MKB stating they had a well-qualified applicant and the home was rented. It has been a horror to say the least. MKB and the tenant created a war zone between themselves. Nothing went right but it was at my expense. The tenant was not a well-qualified applicant. MKB did not bother to vet the tenant. This tenant has been in Roanoke Co. general court, Roanoke City general court, and Salem general court. Her actions ranged from assault and battery, grand larceny, traffic court, and entering a house to commit grand larceny. MKB and Robyn Smeltzer clearly did not vet this tenant. Over the course of about 4 months, there were about 30 work orders. The tenant became so angry with MKB and called code enforcement, and I ended up caught in the middle. The tenant summons me to court. I live in Michigan. Robyn appeared in court not to represent me although MKB is my property management company but to represent themselves. I was blind sighted in court. I had no idea the tenant had been without water in the shower for over a week. Also, MKB charged both me and the tenant for the same repair. The judge awarded the tenant a judgement. Of course I had to pay for it. MKB did not take any responsibility for their actions. The tenants moved out of the house. Robyn at MKB did a move out inspection, I am missing window coverings and a few other items. She is pleading stupid now and refuses to give me a copy of the move inspection and the move out inspection signed and dated by the tenant and a representative from MKB. I have spoken to her broker, Ed Smith on several occasions, again a lot of promises and no actions. Now the only thing they are asking me to do is to sign a lease termination. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICES YOU WILL NEED AND WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING HELL!!!! Chris Aikens

As an avid yelper I'm surprised nobody has left a review about this company on here yet!!! But I'm…read morealso glad to be the first to leave a fantastic review for Jeremy Hart and his team. Yesterday, we finally closed on our home in Christiansburg. Thanks to the amazing work Jeremy has done for us! We've been wanting to sell this house since we left Virginia. We've used a different realtor before who wasn't very helpful at all. It wasn't until sometime last year when our rental property manager (Aaron Harris Kirby from Pointe West Management) referred us to Jeremy when we tried to sell the house again. Back then, it was rather late in the season for selling and colder weather is rolling in. While our home sat empty after our last renter left and after we had made major repairs on it, we decided to try to sell it. But we also couldn't afford to let the house sit empty a few months and our chances of finding a renter is also getting slim. So, we had our home listed for "rent OR sale". And we told our property manager and Jeremy that whichever comes first, we'll take it. Jeremy totally respected our decision and although we also listed our home for rent, Jeremy still went above and beyond into aggressively trying to find us a buyer. Well, we got a renter soon thereafter and we informed Jeremy to remove our home from his listings. He gladly took it off and we told him we would like to attempt to sell it again towards the end of our tenant's contract this year. We were pleased to hear back from Jeremy again a few months after. He thought his in-laws might be interested in buying a property in the area and it's looking like our home would be a good fit for them. The fact that he contacted us meant that he still had our property in mind - that's a good realtor right there! Then, a few months before our tenant's lease is up, we heard back from Jeremy again. He sent us statistics on the area and he said our home is in the perfect position to sell. He asked us if we would like to start listing it earlier on (of course, with the cooperation and consent of our tenant). It worked out perfectly as our tenants are also buying their own home somewhere and they needed to break the lease earlier. In a week or so, we've had multiple viewings and some offers! Which, by the way, has never happened when we went with our previous realtor. In less than a month, our house sold and the offer we took was pretty close to our asking. Almost 7 years of trying to sell this home and we now finally got to end this ordeal! Thank God for the amazing work that Jeremy and his team has done for us!! We very HIGHLY recommend!!
