I was excited for Jisu to do my service request and on the day I arrived I ended up with a totally different technician. I will not name any names as I know she is starting her journey in moritint. I am however reviewing for Jisu who is the owner of this establishment. First and foremost I never got any sort of notification that Jisu wasn't going to actually do the work prior to my scheduled appt. The technician who ended up doing my work didn't mention anything to me until after I signed the waiver. How convenient. She seemed like a nice enough girl so I went along with it. As she was working on applying moritint, I asked how long has she been doing this for, and she replied "2 months." Note: I did a lot of research on who I wanted to do my moritint and somehow ended up with a girl who has only been doing it for 2 months. This is permanent ink, everyone! Make sure you do all your research in terms of reviews, feedback on any social media/review platform before you make a decision on who you want to pay for your service. After 6 days I gave myself a full shampoo/conditioner and noticed there are very clear indicators that the application was botched. If you have seen Jisu's work, you'll see that her application is very good with zero blotches or random patches of circular motion or any clear indicators that the application was not handled appropriately. Yes her work is good, it's why I wanted her to do the moritint. Well, that's not what I got. I got random dark spots where you'll see this technician put either too much pressure on one area or went over it too many times, regardless of all the technical insufficiencies, the work is botched. So I reach out to the technician who did the work and I expressed to her my disappointment and frustration. I asked that Jisu do the touchup for me to correct the botched areas. Of course I left her a comment expressing my frustration mentioning she needs more practice and recommended she not practice on new clients. Absolutely!!! This is permanent ink, of course I would say such things to someone who communicated that she's only been doing it for 2 months. She then asks me to schedule touch up with Jisu and let me tell you, I was absolutely flabbergasted with Jisu's response after I expressed to her my disappointment of how this technician applied the moritint. I get a long drawn out message refusing business stating after she read my message to this technician, she doesn't think we are a good fit to do the touch up. Hahaha I mean, are you running a business or not? That is not how you treat a new client. Firstly you don't know what kind of influence your clients have and how important is it to their business that their new clients are happy. That's how you get repeat business. They did not ask to see a photo or an in person visit of the botched work to either fix it or allow more time to heal and vehemently expressed that everyone's skin heals differently not knowing what it even looks like. Again, they have not seen the aftermath of this technicians work before refusing business. Jisu then had the audacity to point fingers at me that my message to the technician was "unprofessional" ummmm, last I checked I was the client, not your employee or partner. Also, I 100% expressed my disappointment and frustration, rightfully so, in a tactful manner. I refuse to candy coat something like this. Check out Jisus' instagram page moritint_official. Jisu is marketing on her instagram page that she is doing the work but in actuality she's booked months in advance and likely you'll end up with a random newby technician. At the end of the day, you want to also work with people who put their customer first. Their EQ is clearly not good. Doesn't matter how talented you are, you're a dime a dozen. Take your money elsewhere. You may need to drive a little further away but at least you know you're working with actual professionals who are doing good work that will treat you as a valued customer.
