Im a huge fan of "arabian" Food. i was at several places in my hometown Zurich so far. Today we tried out Damas for lunch. the place is really nice. small Restaurant, lovely designed. a lot of arabian decor. really cool. We tried both the grill plate. it Comes with humus, baba ghanoush, kind of taboule and green salat. As "topping" you can choose between different meats. we choose chicken. as a startet you can either choose a soup or a salad. i took the lentil soup. nothing Special, but nice. The salad of my friend was ok too. The main course was pretty good. chicken was full-flavoured and juicy, humus etc was very tasty. And for CHF 23 as a lunch menu, one can say nothing. pretty good Price for Zurich. taken all together. it is definitively worth a visit. i will come back! read more

Three of us shared the vegetarian platter for 50 Swiss francs which was varied, flavorful, and filling. We also shared delicious fresh mint tea which was made authentically. This is a place I would return to frequently if I were here more often. A local person went with me and she plans to go again with her friends soon. Monday night. Full. Great atmosphere. The staff were super friendly. We ordered the shared platter - which was excellent. We also ordered some Lebanese wine of which two were corked. The restaurant host checked and changed both of them immediately without any fuss and offered us a Spanish Rioja which was excellent. Very friendly. Highly recommended. read more

Fantastic Arabian cuisine. Loved the tamarind drink, the olive app (though much smaller and juicier than the ones from recent Athens jaunt). The beef kebab was filling and served with excellent hummus. read more
