Don't waste your time or money on this place. Completely unprofessional, teacher was never on time often never even showed up. I got up sold and strung along until I couldn't get my money back. 100/10 do not recommend Lol @ Bailey because she was my instructor and the business owner. I should have sued but the situation and these people don't deserve anymore of my bandwidth. This review is to help anyone looking into this industry know that this place is not the place to go. I attended Dallas Lash Academy between December - March of this year. Our instructor, Ms. Lazano, was very thorough in her instruction and hands on help with lashing. I feel like I've been set up for success to take my state exam and be a successful lash artist. read more

**DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME AND MONEY!** This School is an absolute joke. First they sell you a dream take your money and promise you this amazing experience. Then you go to class and find out that you don't have a teacher and that the owner is going to be your teacher and she never comes to class cancels class all of the time and just tells you to work in your portal independently. They never have any supplies EVER. The facility is infested with bugs and crickets and mold. The teachers that do come they only last about a week and then they quit and you're back at square one with no teacher. The owner who is also the director is very rude and misleading. I inquired about attending the school for months and I kept being told that financial aid would be available. But there none!! No one ever knows what's going on you just wake up everyday and hope that the building is open. The admissions lady lies about your hours and never sends the correct hours to the state so you can find yourself being in school for 12 months because they never report your hours on time or what your actual hours are. The admissions lady is rude and very unprofessional you can't approach her she never responds to emails or calls so it's a dead end road trying to figure out when you are going to graduate. But you can't complain about her because she's related to the owner and can do no wrong in her eyes. I really hate that I wasted my money coming here because when I started I loved my teacher but she ended up quitting. Don't waste your time and money. You get what you pay for. You're better off going to a bigger school and just taking out that loan and getting a proper education in the beauty field. I enrolled for the aesthetics program & within 1 day I could tell the program was bogus & a waste of money. The school is very u organized, unprofessional, and although the tuition is low it is not worth paying even $2 to learn at this school. First virtual class I was given the wrong time to log in. I was in class with students from other programs & the books were different. During discussion/reading there was no guidance to follow along since the reading material was different in each book. Not to mention Ms. Bailey was eating and smacking like it was her last meal as she ate a milkshake while actively teaching. She also had conversation with kids in the background as she was teaching. It was ongoing throughout the class which is ridiculous. So if you want a quality education from a professional this is not the school for you. read more

Y'alllllllllll.... Okay school, you get what you pay for. I do say the manicurist instructor, Ms. A. Williams, is great. She teaches, takes her time to go over the book with us. When we have our hands on hours, she takes her time to critique us on things we need to fix when doing the service. read more

Ok so I see all the reviews here are about the actual school and program. Well I have a review about the services provided. So I have been here a total of 4 times for lash extensions. My first two times were about a year and a half apart but I received a full set of classic lashes with work done by a student both times. I was charged $55 both times. The third visit was a fill which I was charged $35. Those three visits were actually walk ins. This last time I visited I ended up making an appointment online from the link in the website were prices are also clearly listed and confirm $55 for a classic set. Anyway I arrive for my appointment and a Hispanic woman whom I believe to be an instructor "checked me in" she looked at my lashes and said I needed a new full set not just a fill. Ok I was cool with that but then she proceeded to charge me $79. I of course questioned what I was being charged for and she said a full set, I asked her why the price was different and she snapped at me stating the price had always been that. I of course knew that to be a lie as I had never been charged that amount so as I tried to question her even stating that I had the Zelle payment history for every visit, she rudely said you can pay $55 if you want. I respectfully stated to her that I had no issue paying whatever the price was for the service I just wanted a clear understanding of pricing so I know what to expect moving forward. I paid the $79 and she said that was the price and has always been the price. I received my service and left. I'm writing this review because the woman who calls herself an instructor and should be a professional was rude, dismissive and I believe she overcharged me for my service. She is a horrible reflection of this business and I'm very apprehensive on returning even thou I've always received great service!! We learned nothing, she over sold herself during my enrollment because we literally didn't have a curriculum and most days we came in and did absolutely nothing. She canceled frequently and randomly, we didn't have a teacher, supplies or guidance for the 1st 9 weeks of school and we were only there 16 weeks. She allowed a student to pay her for hours, she never came to school but she's now eligible for a license, she gave us a test and swore it was the same as the state exam and lets just say it wasn't by far! If you didn't know how to lash before coming you left still not knowing how to lash! We were supposed to learn Volume but didn't because we had no one to teach us Classic let alone Volume! She literally gives you your stuff and stay practice.This school is a complete waste of time. Would I recommend it, I definitely would not! read more
