We very much enjoyed both a savory crepe (egg, ham, cheese) and a sweet one (butter and sugar) -…read morejust what we wanted, and convenient to take away. Will be back to try their 10" pizzas. We came back, and the pizzas were really good. We called to order take out, then picked them up on our walk home. We took them back to our place, which is a fairly long walk, and they were quite tasty, but they would probably be even better when eaten fresh from the oven. Even so we have be back twice for takeout pizzas.

I mean like ridiculous... for take away it about £2.75 for a huge panini (though their panini's are actually on baguettes). No matter what combination I make up... I once just had cheese & onion... and yesterday I had Tikka chicken with onion cheese and pesto (which was surprisingly AMAZING) ... the sandwich always seems to come out well. The sit-in menu is a little more pricey but I wouldn't really want to sit-in this place because it is kind of small and crowded and the limited seating they do have is on a lower level. My advice is to get take away and find a nice bench or take it back to your flat or hotel. Though I am not a pizza person I heard from the friend at lunch that they also do great pizzas that are also pretty cheap. Sometimes I forget about this little shop, but I never seem to be disappointed when I come her. Cheap and drool worthy? That deserves five stars!

My family and I were visiting St. Andrews and I was looking up places to eat and yelp introduced us…read moreto this place with super high ratings. It is British food so I expected the typical hamburger, pasties, pastas, and pizza menu ,but for a Bar like british kinda restaurant 4.5 stars is high, so we went. High Yield: A Bar/pub restaurant that offers pretty sweet combo deals good for a family, with hearty burgers, pizzas, pastas, curries, soups, and other things on a large menu with a festive environment. Food: I give them a 3/5 We did the 2 for 10.99 deal. From that deal you can order anything that is marked as qualifying for this deal. You can choose from hamburgers, lasagne, Hunter's chicken, and even chicken masala or vegetable tikka! So we ordered the following: Vegetable tikka: I don't like peppers and this one had a lot of peppers. So if you're someone like me, ask them to remove ahead of time. This seemed to be about a 3/5 in flavoring as my sister didn't even finish 1/3 of her portion. Came with basamati rice and naan. The naan seemed alright and the basmati rice also seemed ok. Hunters Chicken: A chicken breast with bacon put in the middle with some sauce on top. Came with onion rings and wedge fries. Chicken was alright- a little dry for my liking, but the bacon probably helped in keeping it moist Classic Lasagne: This is a beef lasagne with a generous amount of cheese on top baked in its own small dish. The beef was enough for you to see. Lasagne was a little ovvercooked for my liking. And a generous helping of cheese. Very hearty and rich and warm for anyone wanting a good comfort food to keep them warm on a cold day. Soup of the day- Potato Leek- This soup was also pretty good. Add a dash of pepper on top and you're set to go. Not too creamy and not too watery, flavor was just right. 5 a Day Salad- Definitely recommend this if you're someone tired of the Caesar or typical house salad- this one is one of the most unique blends I've ever seen. It had avocado (unripe, you can taste the weird watery texture), green grapes, tomatoes, lettuce, and some red kinda veggie that I wasn't a fan of. But if you need greens, this is the way to go. Service: you order at the bar counter and then sit down. Our waiter was attentive enough. Friendly enough staff so they get a 4/5 for service. Bang for buck: 5/5 2 main courses for 10.99??? You can't beat that kinda deal if you're on a budget. Def recommend. and desserts are 2 for 6 pounds.

Ordered chips and poured salt on them and it turned out that it had been replaced with sand--explained this to the staff and there was barely an apology. However, the low prices somewhat redeem the low quality of the customer experience and the atmosphere is very sociable. Overall, this place is good for a pint and some football but absolutely nothing else.

As much as I love sit down pizza places, it's sometimes just really nice to go somewhere with cheap…read morebut dependable pizza. This was my first thought when I passed Pizza Mafia. I had likely passed by it before but this is the time I really noticed it was there and made myself stop. Pizza Mafia is a very basic place. They have large slices of pizzas (or you can order a full pizza), hot dogs, and sodas. The place is small and the only seating is in the form of two wood bars on the sides at which you can stand. Neither the limited menu or the lack of furniture should put you off. The pizza is really good and very reasonably priced. I personally ordered two slices and a drink (margherita and one with bell peppers and salami). The slices are clearly off the 20" pizza and can easily make a full meal. I fully admit I actually had to get mine to go and by the time I ate it at the train station it was cold, but the slices were excellent. The margherita wasn't standout, but the they used a nice amount of toppings on the other without overwhelming the crust. The crust was nice and thin without being brittle and the sauce was good. It's not the best pizza I've ever had but it was very good when judged against anything. It was fantastic when compared to other pizzas at its price point. My entire meal cost £4 and to have a third slice would have only cost an additional £1. I don't often eat when I'm in proper Stirling but I'm tempted to drop by Pizza Mafia. Sometimes we just all need a cheap slice... or two, or three.
