Update: Apparently, I did not test the heater correctly. They have replaced it, along with giving proper instructions on testing. I did look for testing procedures on the site beforehand, which I found none. I did have to send the original back at my expense, but they did get it back to me fairly quickly. So from 1 star to 3. I ordered a block heater kit for a 2015 6.7 Powerstroke. It came in separate package with the heating element coming in a couple days later. I plugged it in to test before installing. It super heated to 890 degrees (according to my laser heat detector) blew a small hole out the side. I immediately unplugged it to cool down. I waited five minutes, plugged it up again. The temps were all over the place then it completely quit heating all together. I've had it less than thirty minutes and its garbage. I "might" get a refund, if it is deemed appropriate. I don't want the replacement if the quality is of this nature. read more

purchased 6 rebuilt injectors and after picking up my truck from shop, half way home, my truck lost power and had to be driven back to shop at 25 miles per hour. the shop said that one of the injectors failed and it shorted out the new wiring harness. spoke with dales customer service and was told that I had to purchase another one before they warranty the bad one. the warranty form is not easy to fill out as it asked for things such as codes, what diagnostic machine that was used, and wanting the serial number from the failed injector. after sending injector cores back, the tracking number showed it was received and they had it for at least 7 days with no one contacting me. I had to contact them to get my money back on the cores. I would not recommend using this company as customer service sux. read more

ive been dealing with these guys on a refund of 2 heads i purchased from their website. I ordered 2 with brand new valves, springs, seals, all fresh but the head itself, which is to be install ready. I end up getting cores, with all reused components, like they slid me 2 used heads with " machined valve tips to spec" with a grinder, and not even have the viton seals as mentioned on their website! after disputing with them directly, they were not responsive or upfront about the transaction. refused to offer pick up options for months, these were 90 lbs each for around 2k of wrong parts , insane. cant believe i was duped so hard, but they have their heads back and im still dealing with the credit card about constant charge back from these guys disputing the transaction instead of just being upfront and saying they didnt have the marketed item as on their website. ford 7.3 idi heads, what a mess. read more

Ordered transmission on 2/25, and was told 3-5 days lead time for shipping. Invoice updated to "ready to ship" on 3/2. Business couldn't provide tracking number, essentially didn't know where the transmission was. WEEKS LATER, they determined it had been sold because of their own internal billing error. Finally arrived at my mechanics shop on 3/23-the same day I received an email stating that "we're still attempting to get a tracking number from manufacturer." We ordered a DPF filter for our Ram 3500. Per the website, if you ship the old filter back, you can get up to a $400 refund. First, they shipped the incorrect part. That was corrected. So far so good. We then paid $67 to ship the old filter back. It was received on 3/26/25, almost three weeks ago. No refund. No calls. No emails. After multiple follow up calls, surprise, surprise, we get an email today saying the filter couldn't be remanufactured and they won't send the $400 - or anything. And, if we want it back, they will charge us $35 for shipping. I only wish I would have checked the Yelp reviews prior to ordering from this business. And, like others have said, the "customer service" department leaves something to be desired. We have requested the filter be sent back, at their expense. They didn't get my parts shipped timely as they said they would, got several different boxes, some from Rockauto, not a "kit" as ordered. My turbo wasn't even shipped until April 19th, and when received, the horn on turbo was off kilter, sent them pictures and they responded back in email about making a warranty claim, rather than having it "reclocked". The guy I talked to Juan, was supposed to call me back to talk to technician about reclocking the turbo, but never did. Also if I wanted to out-source parts from Rockauto I could order them myself, but when you order a"kit" everything should come in the same box. They don't have knowledgeable people working for them. Went to order an injector for my lly Duramax with confusing bosh numbers listed on a in house brand new freedom injector realized it was some off brand crap. I called to swap the injector to a reman bosch injector and was given the run around ill take care of it well owe you 10$ if anything. Called the next day saying it would be $180 more. I just got stuck with a Turbocharger and actuator that supposed to be rebuilt and programmed. It is currently installed and does not perform correctly and is going to the Dodge dealer to be diagnosed. We purchased injectors for our truck, recieved them and had them installed by a machanic no issues with the install, ran the truck for a test drive and it was smoking so bad we couldnt drive it, took the truck with our machanic to have the injectors tested, 3 of the 8 where bad. we contacted dales and they had us send in the injectors for warrenty testing, mailed them back with papers from the shops tests, all along had to buy a new set of injectors being this is a work truck for our buisness. dales recieved the injectors on feb 8th, and I have called and emailed so many times with no answer until I threatened to get our attorney involved, now today the 21st we get a email and a call from derek the owner stating they where only going to give us 399$ back and will send 8 injectors back to you...
