We were lucky to find them open. They were cooking up delivery pizza, and they welcomed us inside, we were the only guests. The owner was kind, I ordered an amaro, we were told the menu was limited to pizza, that day. Well, we'd heard a thing or two about the Italian's pizza expertise, so we went for it, our first -- and one of the most memorable -- pizza sessions of our stay, on or off the mainland. This is just my take, but seems to me most Italian restaurants get the whole Napolitan recipe right. The secret to marvelous pie is forking into the whole thing as soon as it comes outta the oven, like, as close to burn-your-tongue as possible. And I'm pretty sure the owner was extra attentive to the random American stragglers who wandered into his place in November. He wowed us. Unforgettable.

However these pizzas are not as good as you can find in Naples, but in Ischia they are one of the best. If you can try the desserts, the strawberries with cream on a crunchy basket seems to be popular and was good. Chocolate cake was decadent and delicious. Service is adequate, I saw the waiters treat everyone good, both locals and tourists alike, also the treat children really nice, so it's ok to come with them and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner. The owner is very nice and works alongside the waiters making sure everything goes well. As far as prices are concerned, first time around I spent 83 euros for an app, two mains, two desserts a glass of and water. Second time two pizzas, water and glass of wine, 30.
