The first prescription was an antibiotic, the second was migraine medication (and now my wife has a migraine without medication). I understand if you can't get medicine, but at least attempt to give us accurate timelines. Both times we were told to come back at a specific date/time only for it not to be ready - twice. Never again.

My thought here is that this was a Thrift Drug since you usually found them in a strip mall. Rite Aid swept in, gave it a makeover, and slapped their name on it. Even though the inside of this was newly remodeled it still had that feel that it is underutilized. You get that feeling because of the lack of items available on the shelves and in the coolers. I browsed for a bit, picked up a few items, and made my way to the counter. There was a minimal wait until a staff member who was performing two jobs in one came to the counter to ring me out.

It's interesting we find they have difficulties processing scripts that were never difficult at other pharmacy locations. This was never an issue at the Rite Aid in Hershey (too bad they closed). And the GIANT pharmacists are great. We returned to CVS after Rite Aid closed. And are having the same exact difficulties with this CVS pharmacy that caused us to leave them 13 years ago. Seems the problems are deeply ingrained into this company. Advice- do not fill scripts at this pharmacy. Go to GIANT instead. They are helpful and able to resolve and conflicts with insurance or doctors with professionalism and ease.

The young lady checking people in sent me to the pharmacy to double check with them. I went to the pharmacy and was helped by a man named Justin. I handed him my ID and he checked the system, his response, "yeah it looks like it didn't process". Handed me my id back and kept working. No apology, no attempt to get me on the list, no empathy whatsoever. I'm 54 years old and diabetic. I went back to front and asked the young lady if she could add me, her reply, "I'm just a contractor". My first line of communication was to call the CVS complaint line...it doesn't work. So I filed this exact copy to their corporate team, I'm not holding my breath there either. So what I see is a company with broken systems and employees that don't care about THE BIGGEST HEALTH ISSUE OF OUR GENERATION. I have usually been treated poorly by CVS employees which is why I use a local pharmacy over an hour away. This one was enough to make me write this review. I called a family who I know are attached to their phones looking for requests. Nobody picked up. I text them, "Nobody picks up their phones ... No Wegmans for you!" My phone then blew up! I came home with fresh pineapple, chocolate chip & double chocolate muffins, AND ultimate chocolate chip cookies. There is so much to see, the variety of products , the freshness of seafood, meat and produce ... I spent two hours making selections. I was in my happy place. The apple doesn't fall from the tree.
