I took a Toshiba laptop in on a Saturday. Some days later, I received a call in which I learned of the diagnosis. I was given a price for the parts and labor. Some days later I received news that the laptop was much more damaged and that more parts were needed for a full repair. I thought this would mean I would have to pay more, but as they told me, the price I was originally told was the price I would pay. They stuck by their word. I was surprised people of such integrity were behind the small business. Now I have my laptop back. It's completely repaired. I only paid for the issues they first told me were wrong with it, but they went ahead and fixed everything else. On top of that, they placed a warranty on my laptop. We called to get a quote this morning from Audio Vision. They told us they couldn't quote us over…read morethe phone and that we had to come in. So we drove 30 minutes for a simple quote to get a radio and one 12 inch sub installed. The guy came out and looked at everything we had and said we brought everything he needed except the amp (which we could have done ourselves) and tried pushing us to buy $120 amp from him. We went a bought one ourselves instead and called to let him know and he asked us over and over again if it even worked, obviously we didn't buy an amp that didn't work. So he said $200 for the install and an hour and a half. We put a $50 deposit down for our time. My fiancé took the vehicle back for the install and the guy told us he forgot to see if we had everything we needed and then told us we didn't so we had to pay an extra $50. So we took the vehicle in and left it there, guy said to come back in an hour. 4 HOURS LATER the vehicle was finally done after being told just a couple minutes each time. I could have installed it faster with no knowledge and a YouTube video. And we were charged $400 for this. RIDICULOUS. I have no doubt in my mind they were just messing around so they could charge more. I swear, do NOT go here unless you want to get completely ripped off.
