My fiancé has excellent eyesight & noticed an imperfection in the gemstone which he relayed to the salesperson. Salesperson told him he would change the gemstone out for another one & make sure the new one was imperfection-free. He told my fiancé if would be ready by a certain date; unfortunately he was not able to keep the date & the ring was not ready until THE DAY PRIOR to our 14hr flight international vacation- which the salesperson was very well aware of. When my significant other picked up the ring he didn't bother to look it over as he trusted him on his word to switch out the gemstone. Unfortunately that was not the case. When my significant other asked me to marry him, he also told me he wanted to take a look at the ring. He noticed the imperfection in the same exact spot, indicating that the salesperson had never switch the gemstone he said he would. My fiancé's plan was to go to another jeweler to switch out the gemstone when we got back from vacation but I told him not to worry about going through the hassle; I'm choosing to spend the rest of my life with him, not the ring. Note: Eric Jewelry was recommended by 2 of my fiancé's family members who both purchased their engagement rings there. Both of them- including my fiancé -will now be going to another jeweler for weddings rings/bands & will make sure to do a careful look-over at the ring.
