I called so frustrated after getting a fill from another salon that was so bad, I was about to file everything off. They fit me in for 4pm. I asked for everything to be taken off and gel builder be applied to my natural nails along with a simple French mani. Not only was she thorough, she listened to what I asked for! I pointed out the shape I didn't like, and it was immediately fixed. The nails...perfect! The salon? Clean...the other woman did not stop cleaning! Everything she used on me was immediately sanitized. I am so looking forward to my next appointment! Talk about appointment... For anyone inquiring about this place off of previous experiences.. Lemme put it straight to you. Make an appointment (highly recommend) this place is busy off of a steady schedule so walk ins might not work all the time. There's a reason why there's repeat customers (this particular way.) You will experience and enjoy the utmost attention to detail from Gladys if you book a session with her. She listens to you and you're in good hands.She's a veteran at her profession. Her prices also are super affordable compared to other places so tip well. I go for pedicures here and it's the CLEANEST place I've seen. (I got them often in Florida, New Jersey, and while stationed on bases) you'll rarely see a place actually take the initiative to make sure there are fresh clean liners in the tub that you lay your feet to soak.. Or CLEAN sterile tools being used. At Daisy nails there's all of that. I personally have ingrown toe nails and about every place I've gone to for pedicures just massages and barely puts a dent in aesthetics. Gladys does all the hard diligent work that other salons lack or are lazy to accomplish. At Daisy Nails they dedicate their time to making sure you're presentable and not butchered up. I recommend Darlene but she only works on Saturdays by appointment! Gladys is the new owner/management. Many things have changed for the better. Place is slowly renovating too! What other place can you stop by and not have to worry about anyone else stealing that one on one experience with your nail tech? So give this place a chance. I've never left a Yelp review before and I'm literally writing this as soon as I got home from this salon. This was the WORST manicure experience I've ever had. I've been here once before and was disappointed with how little they actually do to make it a perfect looking manicure. But since it's so close to home I thought I'd give it another try since I really wanted a manicure. I was wrong to think that. I decided to get a dark brown nail color today. Although the girl who did my nails was nice, she didn't seem to know how to do the "clean up" work before putting the nail polish on. I asked her to file my nails down and she did not. When putting on the nail polish she left a lot of mistakes. After my nails dried, there were bubbles on each nail from the clear top coat she used. My nails looked awful but there was no use complaining for it to be fixed when it would just look bad again. This stuff I can get past. I paid $12, left her a tip and I left. When I got to my car I noticed that one nail was brown (like I wanted) and the other nails were bright purple. Turns out the polish changes colors. When I went back inside to show them, they merely laughed and said it's funny. I told them I really didn't want my nails constantly changing colors and being half brown and half purple. I asked them to remove the nail polish and give me my money back. The owner, a man whose name I believe is Jackie, said sorry they already did your nails. No refund. I said I'm not walking out without money back since my nails are now colorless. After huffing and puffing he offered me half of my money back since she already worked so hard on filing my nails (which she barely even did). The treatment by an owner was unreal! I am highly disappointed. He should have kindly apologized for the mess up and given me my money back. I will never go to this place again. I ignored some Yelp reviews and I guess I shouldn't have. This nail place is the worst I have ever been to. They filed my nails to the skin and cut me that my fingers were bleeding took off half of my real nail off. I asked for a Certain shape she kept filing and putting more gel bc simply she didn't know how to do nails. Do NOT go here they are horrible and have no idea what they are doing. I left there with my nails undone and had to go somewhere else to get everything fixed had to take off this set and get a new one cost me extra money. Gladys is the one who did them. Unfortunately, Jackie the owner no longer cares how his customers are treated. He brought his niece in to help a few years ago and she is possibly one of the rudest, worst manicurists ever. Gladys is great but impossible to get an appointment with. I had been going to this place since owned by the original Daisy - I quit going about 6 months ago and will never go back. In their defense there is a very lovely, young girl in the back (well she used to anyway, its been awhile since I have been there) that does very beautiful nail art. Everyone else there, the nails look lumpy and thick. Last time I went I thought, how bad could it be for just a manicure? It was bad, it chipped by the next day and the girl took forever, like over an hour, to do it. read more

I think this place is great. I go every other week for a pedi and it's comfy/cozy. I like that it's not annoyingly hectic or loud. When I get a pedi, I like to zone out, relax, and chill with a magazine so this place fits the bill for that. Plus I like that I can go right after work and straight from the train station. read more

I just had the WORST manicure of my life. I'm literally writing this on the walk home- that's how awful it was. Let me preface by saying I moved to the area about 6 months ago and have been coming here for the walking convenience - the service has been getting progressively worse since. Today I had a 5:30 appointment for a gel manicure. When I arrived on time, there were 2 workers, 1male and 1female, each working on a customer. He said "you wait a little" and didn't acknowledge me again. The woman eventually finished her pedi and seated me at 5:53. She was polite but not attentive enough to notice my frustration or even address that I had been waiting so long. The distraction? The news that had been playing on loop since I had been there. She kept looking up at the tv...to see something that aired literally 8 minutes earlier. Her own nails were unfinished with what looked like fresh acrylic wraps on. When she gestured for me to place my right hand in the UV light, I noticed a short black hair sitting on the machine. Gross. When she took out a second machine I was happy- until she had me place my left hand in it. I had to gently rest my hand on the ledge because the bottom of this thing was sticky. Grosser. As I'm literally biting my tongue to not freak out, I realized my hands had been idle for some time and look up to see her...filing her own nails with the motorized filer. Doing. Her. Own. Nails. As my poor digits are frying away under the lights. Ugh. I will not be back. read more
