Academically, they had them work on a simple book report every week in order to start introducing the concept of homework to them, they also used Kindergarten-level math books so my son was already doing addition and subtraction problems in the 12s and 13s by the end of the year. Additionally, my son's reading skills drastically improved while at LAPMS due to the teachers adjusting the reading materials and worksheets to match each child's different reading level. Now, my son has graduated from LAPMS and attends Kindergarten at one of the SRVUSD elementary schools and he whips through the homework assignments and continues to excel in reading. I truly feel that my son's teachers set him up for success for Kindergarten and I am truly grateful for the school. When my son recently ran into his former LAPMS teacher, the teacher embraced my son and was so genuinely happy to see him again. You could just see how much they care about each child. We now have our 2 year old enrolled at LAPMS and after about a month of some tears and a transitioning phase, he also now loves going to school. His 3 teachers also are always so loving, extremely patient and warm individuals. I have never seen them lose their patience even with a room full of toddlers! I also have asked them to adjust our son's napping schedule and they have always been very accommodating and willing to make changes as needed. They also diligently provide updates on diaper changes, nap times and photos of activities throughout the day. Something I also noticed about the LAPMS staff is that I see teachers from other classrooms help in other classrooms as needed even if it's just for a short amount of time and they always do it with a smile. I feel this shows the camaraderie between the staff where they have the same goal to support and care for all students at LAPMS and they do it as a united team. I usually don't post reviews on Yelp but felt compelled to do so for LAPMS because of the very positive experience we've had. Thank you LAPMS Danville staff!

I had the chance to visit their classroom this morning during Parent Observation Week, and it was such a meaningful experience. Watching the children engaged in their Montessori work firsthand really highlighted how thoughtfully the environment is prepared. The classroom felt calm, organized, and full of purpose, and it was wonderful to see how much independence and confidence the children are encouraged to develop. A big thank you to Ms. Esra and the entire team at LAPMS. Your patience, dedication, and care truly make a lasting impact. We're so grateful!

Moving from another city with a young child was a big step for us. It felt overwhelming, but we were comforted by Anju, the owner of The Goddard School. She was incredibly kind and patient, understanding our family's needs. The transition was made so seamless and welcoming for us. Right from the beginning, even before our child started school, Anju made sure we had all necessary documents, giving us ample time and accommodating our busy schedule. About the school and its activities: The team is fantastic, and the teachers are well-educated. There are tons of activities, all following a curriculum-oriented approach. We receive daily updates on books read (in case we want to share them at home), songs sung, circle time, outdoor play, and fun indoor activities when the weather doesn't allow outside time. Activities range widely--baking bread, painting, dancing, creative play, and so much more. With these daily updates, we feel connected and well-informed about our child's day. This school is a very happy place filled with positive reinforcements and encouragement, and our daughter had a wonderful time here. We will miss the school and only wish we didn't live so far away. Hence, I highly recommend this school for any parent looking for a supportive environment that promotes overall development for their child. Thank you so much, Anju and the entire team! And a special thanks for Andrea and Vaidehi (Class teachers of Parrots)!!

Ms. Mau is very patient, professional, kind, and experienced. Before making a decision to join the Building Kidz family, it put my mind at ease seeing their 18 month teacher Ms.Mau interact and lead the toddlers during a facilities tour. She really embodies the mission and importance of early childhood education. It as only been a week in the classroom but I can see the change a classroom with structured lesson plans make on my daughter. We went from high chair feeding and assisted naps to solo feeds and self soothing nap times. My daughter now looks forward to seeing her teacher Ms. Mau at school. Thank you Ms. Mau for taking this first time worried parent and making the transition painless for my daughter and I. Because of job relocations, we've moved around quite a bit, and this is our fourth daycare. I can say without hesitation that this center has been the most meaningful and reassuring experience we've had. From the moment my children started here at age 3, the sincerity and genuine care shown to them every single day has been nothing short of a gift. Mom guilt is very real, and trusting someone else with your children's hearts, growth, and well-being is no small thing. Knowing my kids are loved, supported, and truly seen when they're here has been a huge stress relief for me. What stands out most is the way the staff partners with parents. Whenever one of my children has needed a little extra encouragement or a gentle push in a certain area, it has never felt one-sided. Instead, we collaborate--sharing strategies, tools, and resources--to support them together. That level of communication, care, and intentionality is rare and incredibly appreciated. My twins are growing not just academically, but emotionally and socially, and I truly believe that's because of the environment this center creates. They feel safe, confident, and excited to learn--and as a parent, that means everything. We are so grateful for the dedication, compassion, and love poured into our children every day. Building Kidz of San Ramon has been a constant for our family during a life full of transitions, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to any parent searching for a place where their children will be genuinely cared for.

We visited many other schools, but none of them made us feel like our child's happiness and safety were truly the priority. Many were Montessori programs with rigid classroom settings and rules that we felt were unnecessary for kids at this age. The family-run team at DHCS has always made us feel like partners in raising our daughter. Communication has been great and it's clear they really know each child individually. They've been flexible with schedule changes and even welcomed us back without requiring re-enrollment when we briefly tried a school closer to home after our second child was born. We continue to do the 30-minute drive each way because of how much benefit we've seen this school provide to our daughter. Over the years we've seen our daughter become more confident, social, and excited about learning, which has been wonderful to watch. They teach the kids about different holidays and cultures and always find a reason to celebrate. We also really appreciate how diverse the student body and teachers are, which helps create a welcoming environment where kids are exposed to many different backgrounds. They're not the cheapest school and not the most expensive, but for us it has absolutely been worth it. Every concern or piece of feedback we've provided has always been taken with great care and met with a professional, non-defensive attitude. A huge added bonus is the location -- the police station is right next door, which gives us extra peace of mind as parents. They also have a giant playground with all kinds of outdoor activities for the kids, and they strongly encourage outside play. The only downside is that they don't have a third location in Castro Valley or Hayward. One can dream... hint hint, Miss Angie and Miss Coco :)

He can write from 1-50, knows quite a bit of Spanish, "reads" to the other kids and has learned so much more than I could've anticipated. He's an outgoing child and likes to goof around. The teachers give him space to be silly and can also authoritatively but compassionately reign him in. I know he'll be more than prepared for Kindergarten. The teachers also plan family events throughout the year such as Mothers and Fathers Day celebrations, concerts, grandparents day, and student birthday celebrations. They incorporate many days where the kids can bring items from home to share (such as hike day at school, bring your favorite book, etc.). Our son is always excited for these days. The location of the school is very convenient for our family. It's near 680 but not so close that you hear it. It's across the street from an area with swim lessons, gymnastics lessons, and indoor soccer, so our son always says "hi" to his school when we're going to activities there. Tuition is very comparable to other preschools, but this school offers helpful drop-off and pick-up times for two working parents. Not many preschools in the area offer the same times.

Long story short, after 4 months, more than 2/3 of her behavioral items, such as tantrum, difficulty in listening instructions, sharing with friends, etc, have been fixed and I can tell that even at our home. Our daughter loves her school, and is happy to go there everyday. The director Ms. Annagi has almost 40 years of experience in Montessori education. Other teachers (Ms. Yessania, Ms. Laxmi, Ms. Evelyn) are also very experienced. They know how to deal with problems of kids, and they guide kids to the right path without yelling or being frustrated. I saw that their tone of voice was calm but had discipline and charisma. Teachers are very communicative and always opened to discuss issues of children. If there's any issue, they give brief verbal report with advice when I pick her up. Also, the education of TRIMONT is well-balanced and well-organized. They give the monthly schedule filled with daily themes and focuses, and follow the schedule accordingly. Of course since it's Montessori school, each student learns by their own pace when it comes to phonics, math and other Montessori work, but they all learn various topics together which covers science, culture, art, geography, season, etc. Our 4.5 year old daughter already reads Kindergarten-level books, recognizes and writes numbers from 1-50, can even complete addition and subtraction. When we had a private conference before Thanksgiving holidays, they gave us a thorough assessment sheet about our daughter. We could easily understand her status and things she needs to learn more until Kindergarten. I'm very satisfied with TRIMONT, and would definitely recommend this school to others in area.
