Daisy is a dog whisperer! Did a great job training ME to work with our dauschund puppy. She comes to your place which is a bonus!

Pamper My Pet Grooming

O-M-G-, I have found my permanent groomer for my two pom-mix pups! The parking is very limited, and…read morethe inside is just a basic open area with a front desk that opens up to the large grooming space. No, frilly, cutesy items for sale and I am A-OK with that, because I'm there to get my babies clean and pampered and that's just what they got! I dropped my pups off to a very nice gentleman at the front desk that checked them in. He confirmed their services and took them to the back and then finished up with me. Upon picking them up, the owner was there and was the sweetest, personable person! She even had her own rescues roaming in the back area, which I loved b/c it allowed my scary pups to get use to being around other well-behaved dogs. The prices are great and highly affordable, but what I LOVED, is that my pups came back smelling deliciously A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and they were so freaking soft!!! I could NOT stop smelling them and petting them and what's even more amazing, is that they stayed like this for days and days! She did an excellent job on shaving the back of them, and trimming their legs (unlike the last overpriced place that I went too...mentioned in my reviews....!) and she only put cute little bandannas on them (and not hair pulling, too-tight rubber bands like the last, overpriced place, once again, mentioned in my reviews...I was horrified and appalled!). Will so be back, will tell family and friends, and their number is locked in my phone; they are FABULOUS!

Like everyone else I had an awesome experience. So many groomers are booked solid but I was lucky…read moreto come across an opening at this 5 star groomer. This was my puppies first cut. They showed him so much love and his cut was exactly what I wanted. He is feeling very bougie now.

Little Five Points

Let me put it this way:…read more This place ain't about to give your dog some pedicure or give it a facial scrub. There's no nonsense, no pretense, and that's the best part. Alejandro just does his magic--all size puppies/dogs and non-neutered dogs too. Your dog will come out smelling like baby soap with flowing hair. Alejandro does an excellent job explaining what needs to be done to your dog--he will show you why sometimes you just gotta shave your dog instead of getting it shampooed, dematted, etc. He's great with animals, easily communicates and most of all, an awesome groomer. Thanks!

I don't understand how this cut could have been completed and looked over and decided that it was…read morefinished. I've been going here for years and it's always been subpar but it's close to my job. The entire underside of his head has long, uneven, janky long patches. Every single piece is uneven with it's counterpart. He left a matt on his face. Random long pieces out of his ears. Random long pieces everywhere. One side of his snout is shaved close and the other isn't. There's shave marks all over his body, and he shaved his ears down. It's a shihtzu, that is not how you cut shihtzu's hair. I own a hair salon, I could have done so much better of a job. This was treated as an all over buzz down, not groomed. This is not a cut, style, or shape this is just a buzzed down hack job. I asked for a refund, he said he would "fix it". There's nothing to fix it's all hacked off. He said he doesn't give refunds, and as a salon owner I know that he could but just doesn't want to. I paid $135 for this for 2 dogs. Atrocious. I've never been amazed here, so this is not dog grooming, this is the dog buzz cut shop. If you don't care what your dog looks like, I guess go here. Oh, and he did not give them a bath, they came back smelling bad. So...just a hacksaw shave all over for $135, not fixable, and no refunds.

Listen!! I commute from midtown twice per month just to come here. WHY?…read more 1. Price 2. Service 3. Results/Quality I started coming to Michele's about 9 months ago. Prior to finding them I was taking my dog to Petsmart right on my street where they were charging me an absurd amount of money only to do nothing right. With Petsmart, My dog would come home and still be matted even after I paid them to de-mat him. My very first appointment with Michele's was a de-mat service. Because he was matted so badly I agreed that if they had to shave him that would be ok but if they could save his hair I would really prefer that. I paid for their time to de-mat him and they did it! Every since then his hair has recovered and now it's nice and healthy, and thick again! I really love the way my dogs hair has been taken care of. He looks beautiful! On top of his appearance they have been very friendly and easy to work with. My dogs hair always gets tangled and they comb it without charging me five hundred thousand dollars. NEW CUSTOMER TIP: I was once a new customer and it was difficult to get an appointment but once I got an appointment that worked - I kept going on the same day every time I took him. You have to figure out a time and start making reoccurring appointments. I go every two weeks because I have a long haired dog. This Salon is 25 times better than Petsmart. I've had a pet for over 15 years and I wish I had known about them 15 years ago!

One of the first things that I noticed about this salon is that pets are relaxed about being there;…read morewhich is a gigantic plus for me. Barry and his staff are definite animal lovers and passionate about the work and their clients ( those with four legs and those with two..). Ambiance: A. Cute and stylish little boutique type "salon". Service: A++ I have been going here for over ten years. I took my first pet here and was never disappointed. The poodle cuts were phenomenal. Small Pets are towel dried and there are no heated cages. Price: A- comparable to grooming prices in the area, albeit a bit cheaper for the superior styling. The groomers are experienced in breed specific styling. Location: B. The location is a bit hidden, which is a shame because it is truly one of the better grooming salons. That said, it is relatively close to the interstate. Highly Recommend!

I called Barry yesterday because my groomer had a baby and was delayed so I needed grooming. I told him I'd not been to his place because I had felt disrespected. Barry could have not booked me. Instead he kept acting like he was frustrated with my dog needing to be cut down then said he wasn't going to do her grooming and left me at the window. While I stood in disbelief the same assistant said she heard me on the speaker talking to Barry and accused me of saying that "she didn't like Black people." It was a sabotage and showed immaturity on the part of the owner and his assistant. I'm not wrong about feeling disrespected. Today, I was reminded they have no business acumen. I sat on the bench to put my dog's harness, retie my sneakers -- all while this out of control assistant is yelling at me. She was extremely comfortable yelling while grooming someone's dog but had the audacity to gaslight me for making the dog nervous. May we always follow our discernment when we see how we're treated. My mistake is thinking I could tell the owner who didn't have the maturity and respect to say he didn't have an opening.
