This place is very clean and oftentimes not very busy at all. I had been coming here for about 2 years, but will no longer return after a recent bad experience. I went in for a mani/pedi without an appointment and was told it would be about 45 minures--no problem. The owner was rushing around, clearly they had more customers than they could handle. After 45+ minutes, I got an extremely rushed pedicure. So much so that I commented on it and the owner even acknowledged, yeah we're very busy. Doesn't make it okay, but whatever. In the meantime a couple comes in who appears to be a regular. They are taken care of right away with thorough service. The owner rushes off to help them and leaves someone else to put on my toe polish. The owner finally comes back to me at the pedicure chair and does a DRY manicure with no cuticle/hangnail soaking/cutting. The full manicure, before polish, took less than 5 minutes. I was furious. The owner comes back and charges me full price, I couldn't believe it and should have spoken up in that moment. Another technician took me over to a nail station and was about to put on polish. She used the cuticle cutter to trim a few areas and I commented that the other woman didn't soak or trim my nails. They are barking back and forth at each other, and the technician said oh she says you didn't need it. What?! In the end, the technician told me to "make an appointment next time." If they didn't have time to give me a proper mani/pedi, they should have said so and I would have gone elsewhere. Horrible customer service. I won't be returning here. read more

Couldn't understand what I was asking which was VERY simplE ... pink base with red French tip for Valentine's Day. I was doing no chip which has a black bottle so I can not see what the actual color is like unless it is applied. I realized that bubble bath was a clear pinkish color which was not what I was going for. I tried explaining this before they applied it so that we may CORRECT this before it was too late. What I got instead was an angry owner who was arguing with me telling me that I was wrong and I picked this color... well yes I'm aware, but How am I supposed to know that this color is a clear based color instead of a more true pink Matt color? Instead of assisting to correct the issue the owner made a scene in front of her current customer who was a MALE and still understood more than her what I was asking for. My nails were hardly even done, hardly pushed my cuticles (even when I asked to push them a little more), filed all my nails crooked (had to correct her the whole time), forgot to file my thumb. And then they charged me an extra 5 at the end for the tiny bit of left over no chip I previously had on... which I can understand if 1. I was not getting another no chip with them and 2. Had they mentioned this ahead of time. Will NEVER come back. read more

TERRIBLE!!! TERRIBLE!!! TERRIBLE!!! Any positive review for this salon has to be fake! I went in this morning for manicure, no appointment and was asked to wait for 10 minutes in an empty salon while the owner (presumably) and an employee continue their lunch. I have no issues with this at all. I picked out my color and waited. I was serviced by the owner. I've been getting my nails done weekly for 20 years, so I know a few things about a good manicure. This lady used a small piece of cotton to remove a dark purple color off ALL my nails, while the content of that colored stain remover from the cotton dripped into and around all of my cuticles. After the nails were "prepared" for color, there was still residue of purple in all the cuticles. I pointed this out and she proceeded to wipe my nails with remover one more time, not removing anything from around the nails. (I've skipped over the part where she didn't even touch to remove cuticles from 2 of my 10 nails!) After she putts on 2 coats of flat color on my nails, she says "I think 3 will look better" I said ok. Then another employee walks in, she tell her to finish my color and the new girl proceeds to put on 3rd coat of color and really thick, gunky, gloppy, top coat. By this time all the color is swirling on my nails in a pool of nail polish. It's in all the cuticles, under all the nails and everywhere! I said I'm not happy and want a new color, at which point she starts YELLING at me that other customers who have appointments have just come in, she has no time for me, and it's all my fault! Apparently the color I picked was "special" and usually she charges an extra $5 for it but didn't charge me, she was "doing me (a brand new customer) a favor", this is all AFTER I've already paid $15 for manicure AND left a $5 tip! There's dirt under my nails, sharp corners of the nails that have not been filed well, and pieces of untrimmed skin on every finger! Seriously! I just packed up and walked out, there were 4 people in the salon, all mothers, on this Mother's Day and I didn't want them to have a poor experience! I have to have the entire manicure re-done! Terrible service, terrible technique! There are plenty of salons in BG, go somewhere else, this is a waste! read more

I have been here before and it was a pleasant experience but when I walked in the new owner told me to come back an hour later even though there was only one customer in the store and a free nail tech. I had a voucher from yelp which I tried to explain that I redeemed right outside a few moments ago and she kept telling me it was expired and to leave the store. I tried nicely explaining that I had just gotten it for checking in and she kept cutting me off and pointing me toward the door. I will not be coming back again. read more

I love visiting with Daisy and her staff. Very friendly and excellent service. The added neck and shoulder massage after mani-pedi is always relaxing. Never rushed and always a great job. I was there 3 times. Each time 10am so just when they open. Every time all the ladies were late. Every time the owner asked if I called. No I just showed up at 10 am, of course I made an appointment. Than they rushed me to pick up my color. They did very poor job on my nails. None of them have good skills. Plus the owner was rude. Her energy is so uninviting. I took my friend there and she wasn't happy either. Very few colors, most old and not staying long enough. My pedi always stayed on up to a month, here around 2 weeks. I wanted to give them a chance but I am done. Don't waist your money. read more

Super bummed! I used to love going to Daisy, but yesterday I went in for an array of treatments totaling over $100. My mom and I both got no-chip manis-- mine chipped in less than 24 hours and is missing huge gaps from where she missed with the brush. Will definitely not come home to get my nails done anymore :( read more

Wasn't the worst but it sure was not the best. I called 3 days in advance to make an appointment for the Groupon deal I had purchased. I believe it was $42 for a manicure/pedicure. Anyways, as I arrived the salon was dead and there was only one woman standing in the front which I believe was the owner. I was told to pick out my colors and wait, which is normal standard at the nail salon but with myself being the only customer in the salon it was odd for a "wait"? I picked out my color and was told the OPI color I chose was "5$ extra" and that she was not "accepting the groupon offers anymore" when clearly the deal was still open on groupon for customers to buy..?! It did not help her English was very hard to understand and at this point I was about to walk out and just ask for a refund on the groupon but she insisted I stay. I was already irritated as hell by the gestures of this woman and especially being a first time customer. Overall, the pedicure was "OK" I have had better. My manicure chipped not even a day after... figures. Very, very clean salon I will give her credit for that. I do not think I will be back though. read more

Won't be going back. Went for a mani and pedi. All of my nails were cut too short. Some painfully short. All nails are on a slant. And, I've never had a mani or pedi where the nail techs nail impressions are visible on my skin. This was the most painful mani pedi I've ever had. I hope I don't get an infection. read more

Do NOT go in there with a groupon. They will treat you terribly. I went for a pedi/mani with a groupon. The lady right off the bat let me know that "You have to tip cash. Groupon no tip." .. ok, you dont have to tell me this even BEFORE you start my service. What if I have a terrible experience? WHICH I DID. The lady left me unattended and she was filling my bowl with COLD water.. she walked to the back without turning it off and it started overflowing before she made it back.. & the water was cold. not warm at all.. 3 different people had to take turns doing my pedi.. the first ran out. The second couldnt do a design. The third finished and went on to my mani. I told her i'd like to keep the length. She said ok but then filed my nails extremely short. She then continued to demand a tip out loud. multiple times. ... MULTIPLE. & she checked someone out before me and demanded a tip from them. They obviously werent going to tip (from my observation) but she wouldnt swipe the card until they gave her a cash tip in hand. When I handed her the 10 to split with the other lady and when she realized it was to split she asked in the most disgusted tone if thats what I was expecting her to do. I said yes, split 5 and 5., She didnt say thank you. didnt smile. just turned away. never again.. read more

So I went in for a manicure. Poor color selection, the technician didn't fully remove the skin around my nails. She applied two coats and I can still see the pink and white of the nail underneath, and she looks at me like I don't need a third coat. Shitty at best. F+ read more
