The highlight for us was spotting a stingray swimming right near the pier such a cool and unexpected moment. Watching it glide through the water made the whole visit feel special, especially for my daughter. It's those little surprises that turn a good stop into a great one. We had a lot of fun. So this is the second time I have booked with this company. First time was on a bigger boat with an…read moreair-conditioned inside area. The boat I was on today was not air-conditioned inside, but still a decent size boat. The larger boat has places to lay down in case you're not feeling well. The smaller boat does not. In both instances there was only two people helping out when you needed assistance both times there were someone new and unexperienced. Fortunately for me, I know how to fish, add a new hook as needed, and takeoff my own fish so instead of waiting around, I often not only helped myself but helped those around me. Very discouraging since they do not have hand rags. Being this is my second time I was aware of this so I brought my own this time around. The spool on the fishing rods are awful... I'm not certain how often they change the line out or get out the bubbles in the lines. Several people around me were having issues. On both cases there was only one large catch of the day. Most of what I caught were grunts and Porgies- both which do not have size limits. I kept only the large ones. - about 1'0" The boat I was on today only offered squid and shrimp.- no fish for bait. My suggestion is to check which boat you're on and if there's air-conditioning., bring some hand towels/rags, nail clippers, and your own needle nose pliers. I almost forgot to mention that my most recent experience, one of the guys was walking around, smoking the entire time and for someone who has severe asthma and heart conditions. This was a huge problem. The rating has since come down to a three. Do I dare go on this boat again? Hummmmm I don't know....would you?

I could not make that trip and tried to make arrangements to go on several other trips but due to scheduling it did not work out on either end. On Sept 13th I asked for a credit / gift card for another trip. I was not going to be able to go for many weeks and wanted something showing I had a credit for the 200+ I had paid, but got no response. On Sept 19th I asked for a refund since they had ignored my request and again got no response. On Friday the 26th I asked for acknowledgment of my request and yet again, got no response. On Monday the 29th I called and left a message for the owner to contact me and never got a call back. I had to put in a dispute with my credit card company. Be cautious booking with them. First experience was great, second experience showed they couldn't care less, once they have your money it doesn't matter if they take you diving or not.

They had other seashell related souvenirs. Kids beach toys are also for sale. The snack section was small, but they do have a nice amount of drinks, which is handy for those hot beach days. Also for sale were postcards, magnets and stickers. Ice is also for sale!

A lot of different birds to see and it's great for a walk or bike ride. We loved walking here during the Safety Harbor BDR (race) and took our time to enjoy the views. Huge old trees throughout, many draped in Spanish Moss, offer spectacular vistas to see and photograph. Multiple areas for recreation such as volleyball, baseball/softball, fishing, and canoeing. We have enjoyed this park for over 30 years and have attended multiple company functions and family gatherings. The Indian Mound is paved and offers a glimpse into the past. Informational markers all along the way. Roads are paved (and 15 mph), easily traversed by car, bike, or walking. Almost every area offers scenic views of the northern tip of Tampa Bay waters. Something new to me was a series of rocks that I first thought maybe a rock garden, but closer examination revealed a series of climbing rocks for kids. It's a great place, wonderfully maintained. We went out at night due to my work schedule and this was a whole new type of sight fishing for me. Court found the Tarpon and showed me his techniques for catching them at night. I hooked onto 4 of them and wow what an impressive powerful fish. As soon as you hook one they just explode, run, and leap into the air. One of them jumped out right next to the boat and about spooked the bejesus out of me. This was by far the most exciting fishing I've ever done, these Tarpons are fighters and are "4 for 4" with me now, but I"ll be back and land one of these... one day. I would definitely recommend a fishing trip with Court, he was professional, prepared, his boat was well kept and ran flawlessly, he is very personable and friendly...and so on...but most importantly... I HOOKED AND FOUGHT 4 MONSTER TARPONS...my first time out for Tarpon !!! Thanks for the good time Court I will be back to fish with you again!

A short drive to the paying booth for taking the ferry from honeymoon to caladesi. It is $20 dollars but they do take military discount too! The two guys on the boat are very funny guys. The captain loves to tell dad jokes and the other tells you fun facts about the islands. It's a short ride to caladesi. Once we arrived there was lots to explore however my friend and I just had a beach day. There is construction going on due to the past hurricanes but there is bathrooms, a cafe, and plenty of shade and trails! I can't wait to go back and explore more. The ferry takes off from honeymoon every hour and from caladesi every half hour. Highly recommend a day trip here!! Water is so nice.

For a small fee you can take the ferry there and back and you are able to bring coolers, umbrellas, beach chairs or whatever you might need for a relaxing day at the beach. They do have a small snack bar to get burgers and things like that and there is also a small store to buy essentials such as sunscreen. If you're looking for a pristine, clean not overcrowded beach where you can get some beautiful seashells then this is the place for you!
