We finished dinner at South of NIcks and wandered in to this store tonight and we are so happy we did! First, they are open late on a Sunday night which is a welcome surprise. Second the person working in the store was helpful, sweet and showed us some things we hadn't seen but loved! The clothes are adorable and surprising inexpensive ($20 for a top!) and the gifts are affordable, unique, and fun. I go to Banzai Bowl almost once a week, (sometimes twice) and I discovered this boutique while waiting for my order and was pleasantly surprised. Whenever I go in, I end up leaving with an empty balance in my bank account and overstaying my welcome due to the fact that I'm busy trying on half of the store and placing the other half up at the register. Although the clothing isn't my exact style, I still end up walking out with a few items of clothing. Their clothing is relatively cheap, not super expensive, or crazy great quality... but very cute, girly, beachy, day wear. Most of the clothing ranges from $20-$55. They have a decent selection of clothes, and the other half of the store is housewares and a smaller (but quite extensive variety/ inventory) section of perfumes, accessories and jewelry. They remind me of a medium quality, lower priced version of an Anthropologie. The main and largest part of the store would definitely be their House Wears. The amount of Home Decor that is featured throughout the entire store is large enough to have the luxury to consist of a wide variety of different kinds of "on trend " styles and aesthetics. They carry everything you would want in a boutique, such as vases, catch all's, pottery, wall decor, wall art, pillows, tapestries, candles, scented bath salts and frames. They even have kitchen decor like decorative plates, bowls, mugs, tea towels, wine glasses and reusable water bottles. Like the clothing, the Home Items are reasonably priced, and from what I saw, not manufactured/made in China. This store is a perfect place to find a gift for any big occasion, like a holiday or a housewarming party. You can easily find a great gift for your loved ones, (of all ages) such as a best friend, a teacher, or even a mother in law or a grandmother. They have small trinkets and gifts, cards, and occasion specified items. (For example, I went around Mother's Day, and they had an entire table decorated and handpicked specifically for Mother's Day, as well as cute personalizes gifts such as frames that said "I love you, Mom" or mugs and wine glasses that had "Best Mom" etched on it.) They have something for anyone. I also LOVE and can't get enough of the staff. I've met a total of two girls who were sales associates, and both had my favorite qualities of a sales associate, and that is being friendly, helpful, and most importantly, not too pushy or overbearing. Both girls greeted me, used an appropriate number of times to check up on me while in the fitting room or browsing the store, were easy to find when needing help or asking a question, and made me feel at home and welcome. I have also met the owners, a husband and wife, who also own the $18 store and a shoe store, which are both located close by. The owner (the wife) was extremely nice and accommodating. All three girls were so easy to talk to while I shopped and while being rung up, I actually ended up not doing the usual surface talk, and for once, had nice, interesting chats with all of them. Anyways, there is my novel about a store that I dig. P.S.- They also have an online website! I am currently waiting for my car to be towed, thus being the only reason why I would essentially write a four page analysis on this boutique I got carried away because I (embarrassingly) was felt passionate about my love for this store. Daisy Lane is my new favorite store! Right on the corner of El Camino Real & Del Mar, you cant miss it. Never went in, mistaking it for expensive boutique.. but it's not! Prices ranged from $18 - $34 for the items I got. Boho/Beachy. Staff super friendly. Their sister store 1 block down Del Mar has everything $18. Picked up some Free People tees there.
