Store credit: can only be used if you keep up with your receipt and bring it back. Both of these practices are predatory and are in place to try and keep your items without having to actually pay you anything. I've never seen another thrift store utilize this technique. Our guy walked over and asked if we needed help. We were looking for lady's boots in the men's section. He told us to go look in the ladies section. He took me to the hat section, helped me find what I would call an incredible lifetime hat. He helped me fit and find a quality hat at my value! He also completely shaped the hat to my liking.
