I told him that that was a violation of the ADA act. That is NOT a requirement. I then advised him that it was against the law. He then told me that I have to carry her in the store because the owner will throw me out. I could not believe the lack of compassion and the inconsideration of this employee.

And this is one of the only locations that is open for the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory, which I always have to get a caramel apple. There's tons of parking. Walking around to the different shops has a shaded covering. There are bathrooms that are air-conditioned. And maintained. Every single one of these stores is dog friendly. And some of the people in the stores give away dog treats. We will always be back whenever we visit the beach.

After waiting and knocking and more waiting and knocking, no response, so I asked the manager if I could use the employee bathroom, because it was URGENT. He said no, I had to wait. Ok. I waited some more, but I was about to wet my pants, and my lower back was hurting, by my kidneys. I finally asked an employee if they could unlock the customer bathroom door because whoever was in there wasn't responding to the knocks. No . Then I said I was going to call 911 since apparently somebody was passed out in the bathroom. So then she reluctantly unlocked the door and it was empty. So I guess they just don't want to open this bathroom to the public. Ok, Just be honest about it, and don't have me wait. RUDE. Cruel. So to the other customers, be warned, don't wait or ask, the manager and cashiers will lie and just hope you eventually leave. I hope the owners read this and decide to change this bizarre policy.

This location is big and the price is very competitive with other places. In general, the products sold are cheaper than other retailers. However, it is not always the best price. So you have to do some research to get the best valued deals. For your information, nowadays many places do not allow taking pictures or videos inside their store unless you have permission to do so. I was taking a picture while shopping but a young staff member stopped me. She questioned me and asked if I had permission to do so. After I explained that I did not, she told me to apply for it through the company.

The store was filled with so many cool things: from 100% silk Hawaiian dad shirts to old dial phones to cowboy boots -- anything and everything you can think of! The store isn't big so you have to be careful to not knock anything over. The store is roughly sectioned: the front is all china and jewelry, then there is kids' toys, then in the middle of the store there are two shelves of books (found a couple first editions in very good condition), then old clothes that look like they're from an old lady's closet (LOL). Other stuff includes vanity mirrors, silverware, hats, dial phones, and tons of knick-knacks. There is an entire room in the back dedicated to just records! My mom bought a bunch of English china and was very happy with her purchase. They wrapped each dish in wrapping paper and placed them carefully in a box. I didn't buy anything although I was very tempted to LOL Cool place to go in and just walk around -- you could literally spend hours exploring this store!

This is a consignment shop so if you don't like the price, ask the person at the front for a discount, and if it's greater than 10% requested, then she can call the owner and ask for an adjustment. There was a $42 plate, we offered $30, she called the owner and the owner countered with 35 so we took it.
