A little off the beaten path, but worth the detour!…read more We missed breakfast and the Bloody Mary bar, but were pleasantly surprised by the rest of the menu. We sat at the bar and had great service. Several tables are available, but all orders were placed at the bar. Overall the atmosphere was very clean and well decorated. You could call it a clean towny bar. Drinks were good, Bloody Mary was pretty standard (would have been better if we made it before the Bloody Mary bar closed). Several beers on tap, and a good variety of liquors. We shared the loaded tater tots, the fried onions stole the show. The portion was large, so we need a carry out container. Then split the wings, price was very reasonable. Wings were crispy and delicious, then came with a "bucket of sauces" - see picture. It was fun to mix and match. Several others around us got burgers, steak sandwiches, etc. Excited to go back to try more menu items, especially breakfast!

My family and I were passing though Wautoma around dinner time and wanted something to go that…read morewasn't the usual fast food chain restaurants. Milty Wilty Drive-In is on the way out of town heading east, so we stopped there and placed an order to go. One kid got two hot dogs, the other got chicken strips and regular fries, my wife got a plain cheeseburger and regular fries, and I got a plain double cheeseburger with seasoned curly fries. She and I also split a grilled cheese. The regular fries have absolutely no salt or seasoning on them. Even with being straight out of the fryer they weren't the most crispy, so being bland too was very disappointing. The curly fries were preseasoned, so that couldn't be screwed up, yet I could oddly taste a hint of onion rings from them being fried in the same oil. Like the fries, the burgers were completely unseasoned. The double cheeseburger was maybe slightly bigger than a double cheeseburger from McDonald's, so I don't think it was worth the extra cost when size is similar and taste isn't as good. The grilled cheese had enough cheese to cover a single layer inside the sandwich with no thickness to it. It was better than the burgers, but that's not saying much. The kid with the hot dogs said they were "fine" and the kid with the chicken strips said they were "ok", neither of which are ringing endorsements. There were only two chicken strips in the basket and not a ton of fries. Maybe for a elementary school kid this would be enough, but for a 12 year old boy it wasn't.

Everyone just stands in a small area as they try to determine who arrived first. Strange. Service was average. Steak - We had the tenderloin and T-bone. We both agree that they were the worst steaks we've ever had. Like ever. I was barely able to cut the tenderloin with the steak knife. They meat said it's supposed to be broiled but both steaks were just grey - like they were baked? I don't know. But yuck. We will not be back. There is a reason the prices are so low.

The steak was approximately 1/4 in thick and couldn't have weighed more than three or four ounces! For that we paid $48 each! The cacophony caused by every one of those people trying to talk over everyone else prevented my wife and I from being able to have any semblance of a decent conversation! If it were available I would have rated our experience at this miserable restaurant minus five stars! Upon paying the bill with my debit card I was given the option of leaving a 25% 30% or 35% tip!
