Followed an informational road sign off ih37 on my way to Rockport. Once on the exit another sign let me know it's 4 miles off my route. That aside once I arrived it's a nice new location, the largest I've ever seen! I had a peanut buster parfait and taco salad - everything's as good and as expected. It was served up in good time with a smile. Where this location falls short is on cleanliness. Nothing alarming but the tables and floor needed to be cleaned. The bathrooms smelled terrible like maybe their exhaust fans stopped working. read more

Manager is very nice, rush hours I would stay clear. Can be congested in the drive through. A little slow. Food is good prices have increased recently. If you eat from the value menu of deals it's worth the trip. read more

Idk where to even start. I have high hopes for Dairy Queen because I feel like it's hard to go wrong with a blizzard... but I learned here that that's not true... I'm one to test Dairy Queen by dumping the blizzard upside down if the employee doesn't... and I did this right in front of the employee to see half the blizzard drop to the ground, when the blizzard looked at me she just turned and said , "I can grab a mop for you to clean that" I looked at her and asked if I was able to get a new blizzard she frustratedly turned away and whispered to a coworker As the blizzard sat in the floor still! Then my boyfriend was getting a hamburger which not only did they forget the meat, the bun was molded. I handed it to them and she went in the back and no one was to come back around the corner for a few minutes when she just said I can get you chicken strips or steak fingers we are out of buns... The food is great. It's always great, which is why I love to grab it in a hurry or while out running errands. HOWEVER. Every single time no matter what time I go, it's 30+ minutes until I get my food. I have even tried to call ahead of time and was told 15-20 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to get there and I waited in my car for an additional 18 minutes. This is ridiculous. I could totally understand if it were busy every time, but it's not. And anytime I make a complaint, I get attitude back. read more

Got a disappointing watery vanilla shake at the drive thru. It went into the trash. The employee could not hear on the speaker, so ordering it was quite a challenge. I wouldn't take the time to go back. I lost my appetite. Sonic is way better but there's no Sonic in this town. read more

The most modern DQ I've been at. Nice interior...looks like a restaurant on the outside and inside with booths and table seating. Food is standard DQ fare. Had a Beltbuster and enjoyed it. Will come back if I have the chance. read more

Would post zero stars if possible. Went through drive through to get a hot dog and fries. Alejandra at the window had major attitude. I understand if you hate your job but don't take it out on customers. Food took more than ten minutes to come out. And when it was ready it was just waiting on the counter for at least two minutes. Worst part of the experience was that the hot dog bun was cold. Fries were ok. Overall experience was terrible. Never again. read more

Mean cashier (so impatient and unfriendly!) The slushie machine was out of order which was the reason I came to dq in the first place, gave me the wrong food which I didn't know until I drove away, and even though the outside looks nice, it looks dirty inside. This DQ is kept reasonably clean and is fairly spacious for this chain. They do the standard items here pretty well and get the food out promptly. The food is as good as you would expect for fast food, and didn't taste of old fryer grease or anything bad that you might occasionally run into. The staff was friendly. read more

Had a bad experience; asked for a Peanut Buster Parfait and got a bunch of vanilla ice cream as opposed to the ice cream, fudge, and peanuts in layers. When I brought it to her attention she said "this is how I make it". I told her I didn't want it cause it didn't have the fudge or peanuts and she threw it in the trash and when another employee tried to tell her how to make it she told the lady that "this is how I make it!", insisting on making it her way a second time. I ended up with a lot of vanilla ice cream, little fudge, and no peanuts. After that type of hostility who wants ice cream now????? read more

This is usually where we stop on trips to and from Edinburg and San Antonio. It's decent as Dairy Queens go. A good place to sit down and have an ice cream. While my experiences have been okay I can definitely see why some people have negative reviews. read more

Lady had to ask her manager how to make a chocolate malt shake. Manager said to just add a scoop of malt powder to a chocolate shake. It was nice of her to be generous and add three, but it was a chalky disaster. Too bad I was already a mile down the road before I figured out the mistake. Also, is there a mining operation or oil rig nearby? I was in jeans, tennis shoes and a tshirt and I was cleaner than anyone in the restaurant, including the employees. read more

I very much agree with Felicia. After ordering Blizzards for 2 nights in drive thru and being asked to pull up and wait with about 4 other cars, we were brought very melted Blizzards. The next time we decided to go in so that we could also use restroom. It was SO gross, more like the worst you can imagine for a gas station, not a place to eat. Then we go to place order and see graham cracker crumbs all over the counter(no one bothering to wipe it) and filth everywhere. I have never written one of these but was so shocked by this I just keep wondering where the owner is. they can't know how bad this place is. $3.69 for a medium blizzard and you basically get a cup of ice cream with little to none for candy/toppings you add in. Even when you ask and PAY for extra toppings you still get the same. This Dairy Queen stinks! read more
